My brothers and sisters A thought i have had over recent years is the mysterious absence of the Rockefellers, Rothschilds, Warhburgs et al in every "rich list", you know the Forbes/economist annual wealth lists where they compile the worlds richest people. Seriously you cannot find these people. Now what piqued my interest was these families who i heard apparently control like 90% the world's wealth, is not on the Forbes list.

Is it that they have been disguising their wealth or what?

I would say, the family tree is now large. The wealth has been shared from children to grand children to great grandchildren. Also money moves...previously, wealth was in banking and the Rothschild made a fortune from it. They are heavy investors in the banking and consulting sectors in Europe. However Money has left banking to IT and tech. Rothschilds are still wealthy though. Rockefeller made money from oil. Remember Standard oil in the US ....yea...but the family is now very large and wealth has been shared. Also the US govt killed Standard oil monopoly in the US. Final blow, money has left oil and is presently in IT and Tech...One of the Rockefellers is still a billionaire, I think he is/was the chairman of JP Morgan bank
