The Lagos State Government delegation sent by the State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Tuesday paid a condolence visit to the Magodo, Lagos family home of the late veteran actress, Ms Racheal Oniga. The delegation team was led by the State Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Mrs. Uzamat Akinbile-Yussuf, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Tourism and the Lagos Assembly member, Hon. Desmond Elliot. The State delegation were received by late Oniga’s three children –Olamiji, Fatima and Tunji–, other family members and several notable nollywood stars. In her remarks, the commissioner spoke highly of the deceased and her contribution to the entertainment and tourism industry in Nigeria and Lagos, in particular.
