Episode 1 of Gembu Vlogs, Season 2 follows an historical account of the origin of the Mambilla People in present day Taraba State, Nigeria after their migration from Central Africa around 3000 BC, eventually settling in a place called Kimi, in southern Cameroon. After many years of habitation in Kimi, Cameroon, there was another wave of migration as a result of political and economic factors, bringing the Mambilla People to their present home, known today as the Mambilla Plateau. This film attempts to bring to light the long history of the Mambilla ethnic group, taking into account the people's political, economic, social and cultural life.
