Revealed!
How average Nigerians are earning crazy amount of dollars every month working for
international clients/ businesses from the comfort of their homes

With their phones or laptops

Without relying on luck, or being the smartest person.

With the internet today a lot of things are possible, especially remote working.

What this means is that you can be in Nigeria and work with people in America without leaving

your house and from the comfort of your phone.

Now the question boils down to what can you do for international clients to hire you?

The answer is simple
Firstly, you want to have a skill that is in high demand

Secondly, you want to join platforms where international businesses and clients are on

Thirdly, you want to position yourself strategically on these platforms so you can attract their businesses.

Average Nigerians are doing this and making between $1000- $3000 monthly.

Omo!!! Make una share abeg, I’m a Frontend web developer. I’ve been applying for freelancing gigs on upwork but I’m yet to get any job after about two months. I guess it’s because I’ve not done any upwork job and they prolly don’t trust my ability.

Some of the jobs are as easy as styling a single button with CSS, something that won’t take me 30 minutes to do but I never got the job.

You guys should kindly share tips on how you got your first freelancing job on upwork, I’ll be reading the comments.
Its not about having the necessary skills , you need to know how to position yourself as an authority in that field to prospective clients on freelancing platforms.
If you want to know more about these send a dm:https://www.cognitoforms.com/UniqueHub/FreelancingMadeEasy

How do you source for them? Genuinely interested
Hi have you heard about freelancing before now, there are platforms where you can easily source for foreign clients and offer varying degree of services to them e.g virtual assistant, social media manager, graphic designer etc. the best part is you can even outsource the job to a third party if you don't have the necessary skill.

Hello Nairaland family,

We are recruiting people with a strong passion for sales in the retail space to our Hub-Agent programme. We are working towards becoming Nigeria's number one mass market casual clothing line and eventually Sub-Saharan Africa's leading mass market clothing line. To this end, we only want to work with people of the utmost integrity.

Agents will be tasked with selling WearGrace products for as low as N2,000 to customers. Agents remit N1,500 per item sold and keep N500. On the other end, agents can sell products worth N25,000 to customers and keep N5000 per sale. There are no targets and no limits, so agents can earn as much N100,000 a month.

From our current data, three types of people are likely to excel as Hub-Agents
1. Individuals who work in organisations with a large number of employees: With minimal effort, individuals in this group can make sales and earn a lot of income as colleagues and their extended families serve as a steady customer pipeline.
2. Students: WearGrace clothing are very affordable and so we have seen that students and other price sensitive people are eager to purchase our quality, brand new clothing!
3. Experienced salespersons: We have also noticed that individuals with experience selling various classes of item tend to perform well as Agents and earn significant income from the program.

The Hub-Agent program presents the opportunity for selected participants to either earn income on the side or earn enough as a full time job, the choice is yours!

The position is highly competitive and the opportunity is open to people in Lagos and Abuja, Nigeria. (Please check your email a few days after applying for feedback)

I made a profile on Fiverr and Upwork, but it’s almost 2 weeks now. I did not get any order. What are some suggestions?

I analyzed more than 100 UpWork profiles and noticed that there are 5 common mistakes most of the freelancers make. Here are they:

• Make sure your profile is 100% complete. If you don’t know where to start, your UpWork homepage will help you. On the right side of the page, you will see a percentage and guidance on what to add to your profile.

• The most important thing you are ignoring is your profile picture. It’s the first impression the client gets from you

• The next thing you need to work on, is the title and the description. Your title should be clear and only about one specialization.

And the description should be to the point. Don’t write long introductory paragraphs. Speak about your experience and how you can help clients. Make sure you don’t have any grammar mistakes.

While reviewing UpWork profiles, I noticed that lots of freelancers write a really long introduction or include motivational quotes. Some even have quite a different title that doesn’t match with the description. Be specific about what you do and how you represent it to the clients.

• Make sure you have a good portfolio with eye-catching images. Your portfolio is important to the clients because they want to see if you have a previous experience similar to their project.

• What you should be careful about is the Skills section. Go to your Profile Settings and make sure your Categories section is relevant to your profile title and the description. The clients are going to find you according to the skills you mention in your profile. And after you complete several jobs, they will find you according to the skills the clients

Ok, this is what I do.

I write (I am not a great writer, but I get by) on crypto-based blogs and earn crypto.

Then I play Blockchain based games and earn daily too.

Believe it or not, people are earning money by merely having fun in their house, in this Nigeria.

If writing is what you can do, I can guide you. But if it's not your thing, you can play the game and build a good income source.

You would need to give it time, but I assure you, it is absolutely worth it.

For context and guidance, search for Splinterlands on Twitter or you can use Google.

Hit me back afterwards.
How does it work?

I am a full stack remote web and mobile application developer. I am also a digital marketer but as we all know landing freelance gigs is not a very easy thing. Once in a while I get mouth watering gigs here but I also do freelance writing too to keep body and soul together incase those gigs dont come as expected and believe me my freelance writing gig has been worth it. I have couple of platforms I write for on a freelance basis. Some it's just social media management but believe me its been worth it. In a bad month I will still make 200k from freelance writing and if web development or mobile app gig comes through I seriously cash out those months. It's been ups and downs but always grateful I chose remote or freelancing part. I know I have to work my ass out but it has saved me the stress of having to wake up in d morning to resume in an office and close in d evening only to get hooked up in some unpredictable Lagos traffic. I attended an interview some time ago and they said they will be paying me 250k on a monthly basis for a full time digital marketing role which I will resume in d office by 9am and close by 6pm mondays to Saturdays and I just looked at them and laughed in my mind cos even if I no comot for house i can make times 3 of that in a good month and they were still even giving me stringent conditions ooo as if na military I wan work with. I just jejely rejected d offer. As a freelancer I have my freedom. I sleep and wake up when I want. I decide when I want to work and when I dont want to do anything and catch fun. All I know is that when there is work for me to do I work my ass out but since I am seeing my money I no mind.
baba abeg I write too, can I contact you, i n we to learn somethings from you. My contact is in my signature or you can send me yours
