The lachrymal glands of many flowed freely on Friday, when personnel of the Rivers State Police Command exhumed the remains of General Overseer of God is God Ministries, Pastor Friday Olakada from a shallow gr*ve where he was buried by his abductors in Luorre Community at Khana Local Government Area. Portharcourt_Amebo Report 56 years old Pastor Olakada, a father of 6 children and a native of Agbochia in Eleme Local Government Area had been reported kidnapped on May 14, 2021 by four men who have now confessed to killing and burying him 10 days after his abduction. The suspects also confessed to have killed the clergy despite receiving a ransom of N500k from his family. The prime suspect, in an interview with journalists shortly after leading the police team to the shallow grave said they were never interested in abducting the clergy. He disclosed they were only interested in the car the deceased was driving. According to him, he and his gang members agreed and decided to kill the pastor because he recognised them so he doesn’t blow their cover.
