One of the problem of Barcelona apart from the defense is the left wing ferran is playing.
I think xavi should start using ferran as a proper top 9 with Aubumayang together or with dejong together then he should change formation to 4 2 3.

With dembele right wing.
Depay left wing.
Then Ferran and Aubumayang or dejong or Aubumayang and dejong as strikers.
I think depay is more than capable of dribbling and running and shooting and crossing like dembele does which is something ferran is lacking in the left wing.

What do you guys think? Because this pattern will give us lots of goals.
With frankie and Pedri holding the Middle and providing the killer pass and crosses for any of Aubumayang, Ferran or dejong.

This is soo apt. The only problem with Depay here is his wanting to "overdo" dribbles. But this could actually work.

Cos right now, Alba has been relegated from being the offensive asset that he used to be since our defenders always want to locate Ferran ( his good positioning coming to play here), thus, leaving Alba to stay back to allow the midfielder higher up and Alba, to protect defense, which we know already that he's porous at.

Don't you think all the little little misses Aubumayang has had in our last two games especially in the Europa, if it was either ferran or dejong, those would have definitely being goals.

As for depay, it's true that he over dribbles sometimes and that's where the instructions of xavi should come on.
Depay and dembele should be used to make defenders get tired and to scatter the formation of opposition.
Because clearly a single defender cannot hold a player like dembele and depay for 90 minutes because of their pace and strength so the opposition has no choice than to assign two people to them which leave the ferran Torres or Aubumayang or dejong open to receive the ball and this will actually give Pedri and Frankie enough space in the middle for the killer passes to our strikers.

This could actually be the formula to balance this team.
I think we have the players to make an impact, what is lacking is positioning and the right formation.

If you ask me honestly i think our defense are trying their best. What we lack is actually goals and not defenders.
But if there is need to buy new defenders then it will be welcomed.

The only time our defenders have had issues is conceding those crazy penalties, and of course, Sir Lengelet's brainfart. Else, they've been doing well. The issue, as you said, is centered on how badly our attack seems disjointed, and that's happening because we've not had a balanced midfield since the last three games.

And then again, Xavi needs to change tactics during games. We'll not be fortunate every time if we continue to rely on wing-plays cos it appears none of our wingers know how to shoot well. Let's try another level of creativity from the middle when we are overwhelmed by the sides and get defense splitting passes from our midfielders or anybody that can get that done, but I hope it's from the midfielders, even if it's not always an assist.

Space exploitation isn't something you have to wait for the opposition to achieve. Sometimes, a good pass for the trick and that's not any of our players forté right now.

If we are going to continue like this, then we sure aren't going to do enough.

Neither of those two you mention can fit into Busquest's role. The last time we tried, we all know how it went until Busquets came in.

Alba is untouchable at the moment. Eric is only playing because Pique and Araujo are out and for the love of the game, the young is a better defender than the two French players at the heart of defense.

The only person I want to see on the bench next is Ferran. I am a big fan of the lad, no doubt, but honestly, he's been shitty for a while, esp since Pique hasn't been around. He needs to watch the game from the sidelines more to see how he could be better if playing and I think he'll do well to be rotated with Fati, Memphis, and Dembele for the rest of the season, on the left-wing.

Earlier today, it dawned on me that he used to be an RW in City and with Enrique's squad ( shuffled with Dani Olmo).. Maybe we can try him there too.
