Niger State Commissioner for Information, Alhaji Muhammed Sanni Idris, has been kidnapped.

Daily Trust gathered that he was abducted from his home town Baban Tunga in Tafa local government area of the state, in the early hours of Monday.
He said security personnel are already on the trail of his abductors, expressing hope that they would be able to trace and rescue him unhurt.
“He was kidnapped in the early hours of today around 1 am at Baban Tunga in Tafa local government. Security is already on the trail of the kidnappers, we hope they would discover him soon and rescue him unharmed,” he said.

Kidnapped by the same people Nigerian Army are referring to as repentant insurgents. I wonder who is next.

He will debunk the obvious that he wasn't kidnapped after he regains his freedom. Don't be surprised if the commissioner later blames PDP for the kidnapping


I can see uncle Lai Mohammed and Garba Sheu coming out to say tackling insecurity is purely a Local Government's responsibility and not a federal business under our laws.

Wait o, who will now fill the vacuum of lying to the public in Niger State since the official lying machine of the state is now in the den of bandits.

Commissioners and ministers of information are conscienceless lairs who can defend sky to be a valley.

My only joy is that the security problem is not being enjoyed by the commoner alone...it's getting to all nooks and crannies of our nation.
