English, eventhough it isn't our mother language, is one of our major challenge. Just like you said, these quotes have been the good thing keeping people alive to try things they normally would not attempt trying.

Quotes are people's thoughts at one point in their lives. Have you tried reading a bible verse today and it made no sense to you, but you read the same verse another time or day, and it is the best thing to happen to you. Most times, especially on social media, we make comments we would come to regret in 5 to 10 years later, just like Uchemba's. A time will come that would be the best quote to motivate your friends, your children or your wife. Peace out

Exactly my point, for me motivational quotes works for me allot most times when I’m down... I see this quotes as a way of boosting someone confidence and making them feel there is more to life than their present situation... People keeps forgetting depression is real, and most of this people are afraid to tell anyone about it, and this motivational quotes just go along way to ease this people stress and incite some sort of confidence in them without even knowing them....it is what it is, Motivational is not for everyone when he needs it he will go pick it up

Was just searching for whom to see what's actually wrong with the guys view and here you are. thanks for saying my mind. This dude doesn't understand the meaning to that statement "you can be who you wanna be" and most Nigerians got English comprehension problems like you rightly said. he took a quote from the late Dr Myles Munroe which says that before a manufacturer builds anything he has already figure it out, built it, used it to make sure it's working properly and made a manual before selling it to the general public. which means when someone buys a new product and thinks he's the first to use that product, that person is lying to himself coz the producer already used and tested it to make sure it's functions properly. now here's the cache, the producer wanted to be a manufacturer coz that's what he was called to be, that's what he discovered he wanted to be and he took his time to make it happen. meaning "you can be who you wanna be" now if a person who is called to be a pilot channels his energy on trying to be a doctor he wouldn't be successful coz that's not his calling and he hasn't discovered his calling yet. until he discovers his calling then that is who he wanna be and go for it, then he will be successful.
