Are you an experienced caterer living within Nigeria? And you're looking for more business funds to launch your restaurant business? Then this opportunity is for you!

Thekitchen.ng is giving out two millionaires to four contestants that will be chosen based on the quality of their applications to compete to win N2 million towards their dream of opening a restaurant.

Criteria:

-Each of the contestants will be given a budget to a three-night free night pop-up restaurant in Lagos for 20 paying guests per night.

-The guests, and the other five professional judges, will rate your pop-up based on your food, ambiance, and service. ( try as much as possible to deliver the best service)

-The contestants for the program will be expected to buy their ingredients, hire staff and create the ambiance at the given venue, with the budget they are given.

-Four days will be given to the contestants to prepare and three nights for their pop-up

If you think you have what it takes simply submit your application to be considered for one of the 4 potential contestants.

Who can apply?

- Applications are readily open to everyone serious about getting into the restaurant business. You don't have to be a chef, but you should have a chef that is ready to work with you as a team. If you are a chef and have dreamed about launching your restaurant, you can also apply.

To be eligible:

- You need to have experience in the hospitality industry because it will be helpful. Whether as a chef or someone that have managed a restaurant, it is important you have some good years of experience.

-Before you apply, you will be required to submit a3-course sample menu appetizers, with a vegetarian option, the main dis,h, and dessert) and a short video(pitch video) introducing yourself, so please have them ready!. And also remember, you or the chef you will be working with, will be expected to execute the menu you submit( be real as possible)

-5 judges will pick the best 6 applications to go to the next round

- 6 semi-finalists will be picked based on their menus and video submissions. (make a good pitch video at least 2-3 minutes). The 6 semifinalists will be expected to cook one of the dishes from their menu for the judges.

- 4 finalists will be selected based on the execution of their chosen dish.
