Breakup is no easy thing to deal especially when you loved that person dearly. Breaking up is frustrating, hard to deal with, heartbreaking and emotionally draining. -The memory is still fresh
You can’t easily forget someone who you have loved for so long. You are going to feel down, angry and unable to sleep especially if it has just happened recently. You might up all night scrolling to your ex’s social media page, thinking of texting or calling them or just feeling lonely. All these can keep you from getting your beauty sleep.

-You are stressed out
Going through something as tough as breakup can stress you out. You may find it difficult to eat or sleep because you are thinking of how to move on and how to live without your ex.

-You loved them dearly
Losing someone you have loved for so long can be very hard to deal with. You may become a shadow of yourself, find it hard to sleep or eat, which my affect your performance at work or school or your relationship with other people.

What to do if you can’t sleep after breakup

Exercise-If you are finding difficult to sleep after a breakup then you need to try exercising to wear yourself out. Find some sport you enjoy doing, this would help you tire you out and sleep would eventually come.

-Listen to music
Music can lure you to sleep if you focus on the song and not let anything distract you. It can be your own lullaby, that makes it easy for you to drift off to sleep. Don’t underestimate the power of music.

-Find something you love doing
Stop focusing on the pain and sadness, and focus your energy on doing something you love. When those painful thoughts come, keep yourself busy so you don’t dwell on them.
