The collapse of the US-backed government in Afghanistan to the Taliban is a victory for China, a foreign policy expert Professor Bolaji Akinyemi has said.

Many say the collapse of the West Asian government happened faster than almost anyone in Washington or Kabul could have imagined.

Prof. Akinyemi told ARISE News on Monday that the US and China are having a”terrible rocky relationship” with the pulling out of troops from Afghanistan appearing to be an inexperienced move by the US as well as an inability to handle complex world.

He said the Chinese will be having the laughter of their life.

Nope, but after 20 years of the American troops in Afghanistan, if these Taliban can overthrow the government back by the USA within a few months, it means they didn't get it right before living the country.

The only cure for terrorism is Isreal.

I can't imagine Isreali defence Force been in Afghanistan for 20yrs, they would have levelled the entire Taliban enclave in Afghanistan. Just 2 months in Afghanistan, Isreal would have destroyed the entire Taliban command chain.

Afghanistan has over 300000 personal what effort did they put in to fight and protect thier country? Mind your the Taliban are less than 70,000 fighters !!! The truth is the Taliban were able to take over the country because the masses wanted them to! , some of the Afghanistan soldiers and elite had sympathy for the Talibans!!!
Is just thesame thing with what we are faced with when it comes to boko haram, some of our leaders, and top security chiefs have sympathy for the course which Boko haram are fighting for..

Counter terrorism is not the same as counter insurgency or nation building.. Afghan president should be arrested

The more you look less you see. You can take a horse to river by force but can't force the horse to drink water. If wall as no crack lizard can't enter the house. US let go after realizing that Afghanistan have soft sympathy for Taliban's. Just not too comfortable with some of their beliefs. Why will US keeps wasting resources and mind you US should have have a stipulated period ( 20 years ) to determine weather the war worth it or not. Probably after critical evaluation of things they discovered it's unworthy. Give Afghanistan a breathing space of 2-3 years and let's see what comes out of it.

Why are some Nigerians carrying the happenings in far away Afghanistan for head like Gala?

Is that the same way this people have been caring about ordinary other Nigerians not to talk of someone from other tribes or other region?

I just don't know why people can't just move on this decision. To me America government made a good decision by not allow terrorist continue sacrifice their gallant soldiers for nothing.

If 6 million of Afghans had already been displaced, at least millions are currently fleeing the country..

Meanwhile,those who were caught unaware are just making plan of fleeing cos exposed and educated people in Afghanistan wouldn't want to stay under the Sharia law

Yes.

They also provided support for the Talibans by supplying logistics and equipment and that was why Taliban won.

But the point is,if Isreal stands against the terrorist Taliban like the US did ,they would have levelled those bastards in a matter of days

This doesn't counter what he said. If Boko Haram overruns the north there are still northern Muslims that'll leave the region. Doesn't counter the fact that most northern Muslims are supporting them.

The US military and intelligence complex is held accountable by the US legislature and the US people. So, they watch how they carry out their operations to avoid backlash from their own system. Israel on the other hand...
