Johncuppa:He is the vice president. He has a lot of chance and opportunity to act, he is just incapable or not brave. Both are not signs of a good leader. Atiku even as corrupt as he was, acted independently under obasanjo for his own interests. |

BetExpert:Whatever agitation we have, the truth we must know is that Northan President will not grant any referandum or splitting of Nigeria. Whatever the plan, we need to first achieve the aim of southern president. |

BetExpert: What has been stopping the southern states from competing with Dubai and Singapore? We are a federation and the Governors are the Emperors of their states with absolute powers. Hence show us one state in the South that is as developed as Kano or Kaduna.? 1 Like |

Johncuppa:Southern president is non negotiable because if the North dare try it to put another Fulani there, Southern politicians will be quick to sponsor Nigeria's break up like Northern politicians are sponsoring bandits and terrorists to take over Nigeria. Either ways, Nigeria must break. Imagine how formidable IPOB will be if the 5 East Governors are sponsoring it, or how OPC and Odua will be when West governors start buying them rockets and jet machine guns or how MEND will be when ND Governors support the struggle. Nigeria army cannot defeat southern militias sponsored by southern politicians. The country must surely break. If the North stays in power beyond 2023, do you think Tinubu will be smiling with the North again? Let them try it. God don answer our prayers be that. No independent country can gain freedom without the support of its political class. That's the only ingredients Southern agitators are lacking, and that's the current advantage northern terrorists are enjoying. |

In my own opinion business inclined or not we need to face the reality. Greed and self centered attitude is what has kept us and is eating us up big time. who says most of our leaders are not business men at least when u hear of the businesses they have and how well they are run no one should tell us that they don't know what they are doing. We a leader who is ready to put the people first and has complete and absolute value for life. |

I 100% subscribe to this. A southerner who understands what it takes to make money, manage money making process. We don't want someone whose only understanding about money is collecting salaries as a politician. Someone who understand that in this 21st century, the size of a nations economy is their military might and no longer their military. Under this administration, we have lost a lot of business opportunities, especially in the first tenue when they were on a wild goose chase all in the name of fighting corruption. Fighting corruption should be highly recommended but shouldn't be at the detriment of the economy. The fight against corruption we saw in the first tenue of this administration only achieved one thing, scaring away would be investor. The would be investor ended up leaving there money in the bank while the bank only succeeded in constantly making illegal deductions from the investors deposits. And other couldnt bring in their money to invest. However, I see investments picking up in the country not because of viability of any policy of this administration rather, because of the fear of the naira's continuous loss of value. They rather invest the money somewhere rather than leave it in the bank and lose both ways (illegal deduction and Naira loss of value). |

No it will be a kolanut addicted northerner. The southerners are a disappointment, the passage of the PIB has proven it. |

Johncuppa:But atiku is corrupt na. Are you now comparing his motives to your godly osinbajo. Atiku's motives was the problem. He was fighting for his interests. It's definitely possible to take a stand as a vice president for the interests of Nigerians and heaven will not fall. |

amc:You think development is about stealing Southern resources and using our oil money to build fine roads and bridges in the North? Lol! Development is about Human capital which the North has ZERO. All you produce are terrorists and bandits and mass murderers and oppressors whose only advantage is in the weapons they have. The North has zero intellectual capacity. Intellectual capacity is what brings development. That's why despite all the trillions ND oil money that has been squandered on infrastructure development in the North, the North is still the most backward and stone age barbaric region full of savages and barbarians in Nigeria. When the North starts producing Nobel prize winners, Grammy winners, Olympic gold winners, and limitless human capital talent like the Southern Nigeria, then come back and discuss. But that will never happen, 1000 years from now, it's still terrorists and oppressors that the cursed North will produce. So we can't have that conversation. A dog can't go beyond its leash. The cursed terrorists North is the evil leash holding Southern greatness back. Without the South, the North is just another terrorists zone like Afghanistan or Yemen. That's why you guys don't want the South to go. You don't just need our oil and natural resources. You need our brains and creativity too because you don't have either. 2 Likes |

I don't know why these shallow pontificators think business people would make good leaders. Some successful people got to the top out of pure corruption and dishonest dealings. First, they said we need professors: we had the great buffoon Jonathan. Next they said business entrepreneurs: most of our governors are, and they're failing worse than anything. It doesn't matter who, as long as they've the vision, courage, and inclusiveness. |

CSTRR: The state of business in Lagos is still far better than the state of business in Anambra so i will still vote Tinubu, Osinbajo, Fashola etc ahead of Peter Obi. Any of the three will be better for business than Peter Obi. |
