This is how it starts. Kano already has Hisbah. With people like this, it is only a matter of time before Hisbah becomes untamed.

Is this news?

Who does not understand that Muslims of northern Nigeria’s 12 sharia states share the same objective with Boko Haram? The objective is to have Nigeria to be governed with Islamic Sharia criminal laws, the same laws the Taliban in Afghanistan fought for more than 20 years to enthrone in Afghanistan.
In 2001, Muhammadu Buhari told a large crowd of Moslems in Kaduna that he would not stop fighting until Islamic Sharia criminal justice system is applied in all the states of Nigeria.

Buhari appointed a CJN, Mohammed Tanko, who quickly called for insertion of sharia criminal laws into the 1999 constitution.
He boasted that after all, they have the numbers in the National Assembly to insert sharia criminal justice system in the constitution.

The other thing I find funny is Joe Biden trying to spin this and project his administration as fighting for women's right, Imagine his state department saying yesterday that Joe Biden administration has asked the Taliban to include women in their government, what a joke. Are women not part of hisbah in the North, the Taliban replied them that yeah women will be part of government but within Islamic law. Do Joe think he can change the mindset of those women who have the Taliban mentality because for sure those are the ones who will be in the Taliban government. And they could be more brutal than their male counterparts. Examples are the Hisbah females in the North here in Nigeria

This is what some supposed civilized people on nairaland fail to understand, Afghans wants Taliban, a fact western media will never want the rest of the world to see!

Taliban is not a terror group like Boko Haram, when have terrorists ever held press conference in front of the media?

It's victory for the people of Afghanistan, the occupying western forces are now gone!

If western media are biased regarding this event, perhaps u could recommend an alternative website or news channel that shows Afghans pouring out on the street, burning the US flag while celebrating this victory.

During the islam revolution in Iran in the 70s whr the US backed Shah was overthrown, the media was flooded with videos of ppl celebrating on the streets.
Also similar incident with Hezbollah in Lebanon.

It's crystal clear that a vast majority of Afghan people wanted the Taliban government. There's nothing to pretend about it. Whether Muaz Magazi says it or not, the facts remain for all to see. The US just wasted their time and resources for two decades.

The bottom line is that Osama Bin Laden has been killed. The US just needs to keep monitoring the activities of the Taliban government. If they become a threat to our world, the United States will step in and put them where they belong again.

With who's financial and human resources?

You are very correct. Most of their men have really missed a lot. Now they can keep their women and young girls in perpetual bondage, marry as many wives as possible, touch them as they wish, etc. They've been fantasizing about this for two decades. Congrats to them!!! I only pity the lives of those Afghan women; it's never gonna be the same again. embarassed

Point of correction though US didn’t waste 20 years in Afghan, their purpose is to end the reigns of the al Qaeda and their attacks against the US citizens, US government didn’t go there to help them build their country, they only went there to stop further attacks on her soil(America)…after the incident of 9/11

I am finding it difficult to understand your rejoinder. You mean to say the same Afghans who flooded the airports, hung on to a moving airplane, fell off out of the sky from a moving airplane, all in a bid to escape Taliban rule are just faking it?
Bro, I think you are too comfortable with the level of peace you have. You don't know what it's like to live in panic.

Bro, I think you are too comfortable with the level of peace you have. You don't know what it's like to live in panic.

Just the way I replied someone you shared your sentiment.

You see, leadership is complicated. I will use a local analogy to break it down. While many Nigerians are complaining that Buhari is a bad leader, there are many Nairalanders defending the same government.

The truth is, a government cannot favour everyone. It must appeal to some people and not others. The question now is, on what divide are you? Take it or leave it, extreme Muslims, like many Afghans are, will love the Taliban government and hate the stooges the US imposed on their country.

It's even annoying that the US wasn't watching the massive corruption going on under that government that they refused to pay soldiers their salaries. How on earth do you owe soldiers in a country at the brink of war?

In conclusion, I will tell you that much of those we see from the Western media are those the media wants us to see. The media, as you know it, is a very powerful tool in today's world and no media house is completely free from bias.

Taliban Commander Vows Jihad Against The Whole World

As the Taliban moves into Kabul and demand the unconditional surrender of the central government, the Taliban Commander Muhammed Arif Mustafa told CNN: " it's our belief that one day, MUJAHEDIN will have victory and Islamic laws will come not to just Afghanistan, but all over the world. We are not in a hurry. We believe it will come one day. Jihad will not end until the last day.

He said the Taliban and other groups like it will fight on " untill religion is all for Allah" within Afghanistan, this will take the form of a ferocious and merciless percution of women who do not obey Islam's veiling laws and of anyone else who dates to violate the structures of Islam in any way.

And outside Afghanistan, the Taliban will do all it can to aid Jihad groups elsewhere as it aided al- Qaeda to prepare for the Jihad attacks in New York and Washington on September 11 , 2001

Me: What we see and hear is exactly what is happening in Nigeria but we're down playing it with politics
Very soon our eyes go open. I pray it shouldn't be late by then for total liberation of Ndigbo.

Don't be suprise to wake up one day to hear that buhari flee from the country and Nigeria is now an Islamic state under the control of Boko Haram or iswap.... keep on supporting One Nigeria and speaking good English against Nnamdi kanu and Biafra restoration movement.

I know most of you will say that is not possible for them to impose Jihad in the whole world. Actually they are not going to impose it on the whole world, but they can impose on the whole Muslim country Which Nigeria is Constitutional among.
