I have tried all the methods available for checking MEP ID including the blackberry logger and accessing the Engineering screens. The blackberry logger does not read the phone and the MEP ID is not displayed in the OS section of the engineering screens.
Further research has given me answers like my phone belongs to the new set of 9900s from AT&T that have new MEPs. What do you think?

femi4: You ve already lost the privilege..........what you are having is mep 0

femi4: Accessing the OS engineering screen has never fail, that's the only way out. Perhaps you didnt follow the instruction properly.

Once more, this is it:

1. Get to the "Help me screen" by:
Going to your home screen,and hold ALT + Shift, and press H. DO NOT EXIT this screen.

2. Obtain PIN, APP Version, UpTime values from "HELP ME" Screen.

3. Now, go to. http://www.deblocage-blackberry.com/blackberry-escreen-keygen.php
and input the values gotten in 2, then click on "get my key" to get
your key.

4. Now simply type this generated KEY directly on to the Help Me
screen.
Nothing will appear when typing. For numbers hold the ALT key when typing.

5. Now you should be in the engineering menu.

6. Navigate to the OS Engineering Screens ‘

Then, scroll down to "Device Info" and then scroll down until you see your MEP

This is the best method if you carefully follow the given instructions.

lol i can understand ur frustration. imagine how i feel. its baffling to me as well. i checked various forum boards and it turns out i'm not alone. But its peculiar to newer versions of bb from the last set of 9900s to the z10s as well
