For 20 years, the war went on, with many currently dead or displaced.

The US invasion of Afghanistan was a costly mistake as is now evident. It was counter-productive.

The US wanted to punish the Taliban for protecting Al-Queda, but they ended up making their bond stronger.

The Taliban has taken over again, and Al-Queda is still around. The Americans have lost many men.

So, where is the victory?

As always, the US has failed just as they failed woefully in Somalia.

Now, they are using propaganda to make their invasion of Afghanistan look to bear some success.

They killed Osama Bin Laden, but Al-Queda is still much around, and the Taliban is back.

The US will think twice before invading any Muslim countries again.
