The passat 2.0T fsi I am currently rebuilding is equipped with turbo, that's first time encounter but I don't see anything strange as to prompt being scared of it, rather it's exciting to explore and get into knowing how it works,

It's fascinating but I still I can see the anxiety on the face of my Asian car mechanic, as he discourage me to get it chopped off,

This engine is small but really busy,

And that's why I like it even better, and above all this car is quicker and better...

So why are most of you turbo phobic?

I stopped commenting on or even reading threads by this OP a while back when I realized he's a blockhead with a deep inferiority complex.

Just to let you OP know that Toyota has had turbos in engines since the 1990s.

Your ignorance would not let you gain useful or relevant knowledge.
