Can one carry stew with bushmeat?

ijeshaprincess:

Please don't. Unless they have stopped manual checking, it will be discovered, And its really for the sake of it leaking and spilling on your lugguage and that of other passengers. You will find palm oil over there tho a bit pricy.

Please those that receive mail from Dubai that visa has been issued but should not visit TLS office until a mail is received for pick up, how long did it take to receive collection email? I received mail since Thursday that my dependent’s visa has been issued but yet to receive collection mail and still showing at DMC stage when tracked.

Those with experience, please help. Should I keep waiting or send a paid mail?

Same here I received mine since Tuesday but no collection mail yet. I was told that I should go to TLS on Monday, sometimes the passport would have gotten to TLS but they would not send collection mail. I dunno how true this is. Anyone that has experienced this should pls give use pointers

Thanks

No school will issue CAS earlier than 6Months to your start of your course.

tinke:
You can apply from your current country of residence. You must have a legal stay e.g Residence Permit.

From my experience Ehn, I applied from Dubai… Just go back home and ensure you don’t supply too much information…

Bourne007:
You don't have to return to naija. You can apply where you are as long as you are legally resident there

Thanks guys

I have been confused for a while now when I saw some posts from people whose spouse has already gotten visa been rejected. For me , my wife already had gotten hers 2 weeks ago but I and the spouse did not apply together. We intend to apply in the coming weeks. What could be the reason for the rejection? Is there anything they didn’t do well? For us we wrote in my wife application that I will be applying alongside the kids and that the POF for ours will be in my account. Should we go ahead and apply or wait for her to enter Uk first before applying ? Who has ever applied after his spouse for a visa and got visa

Hello
I applied ( Standard ) on 20/8
on 2/9 i received this Email
Could you please let e know what is this mean ..

this email is to notify you that your UK visa application has been received at the British Embassy (AMMAN) and will now be prepared for assessment by an Entry Clearance Officer.

Our published service standards say that we will process all non-settlement applications within 15 working days and all settlement applications within 60 working days, both from the date you attended your appointment at the Visa Application Centre.

If you have purchased the Priority service, we aim to process Priority non-settlement applications within 5 working days from the date that you attended your appointment at the Visa Application Centre, and all Priority settlement applications within 15 working days of your appointment.

We are currently meeting our service standards and there are no forecasted delays to our service.

Please note: We strongly recommend that you do not book a flight to the UK until your visa application has been approved and you have collected your passport. We do not accept responsibility for any financial loss incurred as a result of delays in processing applications and we will not fast-track applications solely because of travel plans.

Once a decision has been made on your application we will email you to let you know. You will then be contacted by the Visa Application Centre with instructions on how to collect your documents. Please do not go to the Visa Application Centre before they have contacted you.

In some circumstances, applications require further assessment which can take longer than our published customer service standards. If your application is going to take longer than expected we will let you know.

We would be grateful if you could keep your correspondence to a minimum during the consideration process. If you need to contact us or would like to track the progress of your application, you can do so via our International Enquiry Service at www.gov.uk/contact-ukvi-outside-u

Your advise is really weird, asking people to be overly guarded and to delete their social media page is really off. Unless one has something to hide, there’s nothing wrong with having an opinion about your government.

And as for not trusting people, this only brings unnecessary paranoia. People can only expose bad and illegal activities, if you are abiding by their rules and not working beyond the limit set, then what’s there to expose.

Guys please, network, make new friends, be open about your struggles as you never know where you’ll get assistance from but be sure to only give out the information that won’t come back to bite you. Shalom

Am not here to argue but this bolded is so so wrong. Do not ever try it, you will regret. Wish i can talk more, but i cant. No one, i mean no one should know your business.

I clearly understand what he meant by deleting your social media accounts, the internet NEVER forgets, you might miss an opportunity because of something you uploaded ten years ago. But do what works for you, he simply gave an advise. No need to argue just take it or leave it. Those guys are not friendly.

I come in peace

Where are you based bro and is it Swansea?

Hello, is yours Swansea too, how long did you wait before they issue you Cas after your deposit. It's been 3 weeks now since I made deposit and I have not still gotten my cash. My Pof will mature on Friday but I have not been issued Cas. I intend doing priority too on the 16th but I am still waiting for Cas from them.

I really don’t think this matter needs to be debated… It’s wiser and smarter to say No! You don’t have to tell them EVERYTHING you have in your mind… That’s not a lie… It’s not a crime to have a relative there yeah, but why are they stressing it? We should think about that… No one would kill you if you say No but if you say yes be prepared for what might come after that simple yes… it’s simple Abeg…

Its unwise and ignorant to answer No to that question and yes its a lie to answer No.

Yes nobody will kill you but you are likely to be refused a visa or denied entry to the UK.

Lying in your visa application is the silliest thing to do because it will be saved and use against you.

Again people are different and experience is different. If I don’t have anything to hide I don’t see why I can’t make friends with them. Even amongst Nigerians are the evil. Be care of Nigerians abroad. People should live their lives not based on fear. If I have nothing to hide, no one can nail me. I am not illegal.

Good luck dear.

That’s right….. except if you have a valid US or Schengen visa

Fallout of brexit. UK no longer in the EU so a transit flight through an EU nation to the UK is seen as travelling to a third country and they need a transit visa for that.

I think it's on KLM's website too.

It is part of contraband items but people still carry it. I won’t advise you to carry it though because if you were caught, they may fine you.
