Good day all,
Please how can I answer this question;
How does school benefit from having you on the Course/Program?
I need to answer this as I want to apply for a scholarship.

Hello everyone,
Please I need information on Universities in Uk that still offer admission in January 2022 or February 2022 or march 2022.

Crenzywilliams:

For your biometrics at TLS contact, you'll need a copy of your international passport, your international passport, a printed copy of your appointment confirmation page, and a printed copy of your checklist page. If you're applying at TLS contact at VI, you should also go with your ATM card to pay for your venue fees(£55). You should also go with all your documents if you haven't uploaded them yourself. All the best.

Please what is this venue fee for and does it apply for everyone?

Yeah you got plenty answers to the question if you're attending the school for graduate study.
1. You can help the school as a mentor. Mentoring new admitted students from your country. Be part of university ambassador, even in recruiting etc.
2. You can as well take up studentship jobs, by assisting in Laboratory, researching and workshops guides to undergraduate students of course you should be able to confidently handle all these if you're good and collectives.
Your benefits as graduate student is endless I stand to be corrected if am not making sense.
Best wishes!

Hmm, not entirely sure this is correct for families.

1. Single parent can apply alone
2. Single parent can apply with child if there's document to show that she's not married to the other parent of child and they have sole custody - legal documents
3. Single parent can apply with child if the other parent already has visa
4. Singe parent can apply with child if other parent writes a letter of consent and gives reason why they are not applying at the time (please check very well on this - this is very specific for married couples. Note - The converstaion changes greatly if the couples involved are not married and one parent is wanting to travel with the child. Please seek professional advice in this regard.
5. Both parents can apply at the same time with child
6. Both parents can apply together without child

Patnuel2015:
There is no rule that state all of you must apply at same time. You can do that if you want, it's your choice. However, you alone can apply then you family apply later. Also you and you child can apply at same time while your husband applies later. It all depends on what you guys want. Although you should know that if you are not applying together with your husband but with you child, a consent letter must be sign by both you and your husband. So choose which is convenient for you.

Can you kindly enumerate further on how UBA africard works pls? Does he going to funds the account with dollars by himself or he can use dollars equivalent when open it with naira.
Kindly juxtapose more on this pls. Thank you

To be candid, within the duty of care, its very unlikely that they would approve the visa of a dependent child if only one of the parent is travelling. (Unless there's a legal document that's granting them sole responsibility in this regard and they are not in any marital union with the other parent f the child.)

For example - in case this is not clear to some people. If two people are married and only one parent has the intention of applying and travelling with their child on a student dependent visa, its more than the case that the parent will be grated the visa but the child would be rejected.

Ebalafaa:

Thanks once again for your input.

However, Kindly review ST 34.2 carefully to understand why I am cautious. I have been travelling for visits with my daughter alone without any issues previously but this is a student dependent application and the rules are clear on the requirements. Consent Letter may not be sufficient here.

The subsection (c) clause is not an objective test and i do not want to risk it because what may be serious and compelling to me may not be to an ECO. I also do not have sole custody neither is her father dead so I do not meet the exceptions listed under (a) and (b).

Hope you now understand.

I don’t get, what do you mean By CAs deadline?
The school hasn’t issued your CAs and they gave you a deadline? Or do you mean deadline to submit necessary documents required to issue CAs?

Thank you for replying,
There’s a CAS deadline on the school website which is September 27, I’m confused on what it means, 27 is just two days away and I haven’t gotten my CAS. Does it means no more issuance of CAS after the date?

Well, I don’t really know but I want to assume it’s the deadline for you to meet the necessary requirements for them to prepare your CAs. If you’ve done that and they’ve not issued you CAs, then It’s not your fault.

After lots of emails, UKVI just responded with this. Hopefully our visa is on the way.

Who else got this kind of response and how long did it take to get collection mail

justwise:

You are just lashing out because you got called out for making a mistake.

Why do you move abroad with larger family if you have no accommodation waiting or made an arrangement for one?

When you failed to plan then you planned to fail, you have two options when moving abroad with family of 1,2 or more.

1. Main applicant moved first, stay in a hotel, BnB, AirBnB to settle, get accommodation before moving the rest of the family.

2. Pay for student accommodation for one semester, use that opportunity to get something cheaper and suitable for family.

Its not rock scientist that if you moved with larger family it will cost you a lot to stay in a hotel or AirBnB.

The reason you gave for the lack of accommodation is not true because:

1. We have had PSW before for many years and there was no accommodation crisis then.

2. The UK was still a member of EU then hence many EU students and other EU members can easily troop into the UK as they wish but still many foreign students still get accommodation.

Years ago when i moved from Bradford to Portsmouth, i travelled to Portsmouth first(this is about 6hrs journey) stayed in a hotel for just a day, got list of private landlords from the university and the next day i viewed 3 properties and was able to get one. I moved back to Bradford to pack my stuff.

Yes you were desperate for a place and that was why you offered to pay more than the asking price.

How was life in Portsmouth?

Ok this is how the africard work.
There is one for naira Africard naira
And the one for dollars africard dollar.
It's a prepaid card, when you go to Uba. You fill a form and the card is given to you instantly.
You can find the naira version of it with naira in the bank. You will be able to use it to pay for any transaction worldwide. But the limit for the year is 10,000 dollars, when you make payments like visa or IHS, the card will do the conversation itself and send the money.
Kukujajaja:

Good day to you all. please I have an issue with my VISA. I and my friend applied together (PRIORITY) on 2nd of September but he already got his collection email on 13th while I haven't gotten mine.

My ordeal: My biometric was on 2nd of Sept, On the 7th of sept, I was called from the bank (FCMB) around 1pm to give consent concerning the British embassy confirming my account statement in which I did. On the same day, I got "non-straightforward" around 3pm. Till now my application is still being received by Dmc.

My concern, the bank I use is FCMB and the account type is Personal Business Account in which I have multiple transactions/ plenty turn over through the 28 days cos I use it a lot for business, but through out, the money never go down below the required money needed as proof of fund for my visa, could this be the reason I got the non-straightforward email? what else do you think could be the problem and what do you advice I do please?

More so, I am changing from the course I did as an undergraduate to something new entirely. could this also be the problem?

thank you
how much in general is the UK student priority visa?
