I also applied to bedfordshire. I did my credibility interview today and I passed.

You need to provide POF yourself and your dependent.
Secondly, I used wema bank to pay my 65% which is 8650 pounds . They deducted above 4.9m .
Lastly, I don’t have an idea about your child’s passport . I hope someone answers .

Hi,
If I'd both options, I'd go for Business Analytics but this is me choosing without knowing what your circumstances or background are. Because with the degree, one can work as a Business Intelligence Analyst, a Business Analyst, a Data Analyst, a Business Consultant etc.

That said, the knowledge you'll gain from both courses can be used in different industries but Business Analytics will set you up more in tech. Additionally, last week, I think I happened on a Business Analytics course that has a Project Management module.

I think you should reevaluate what your career plan is and make a decision based on that. Bear in mind that it's easier (or less difficult) to study Project Management without a structure than it is to study Business Analytics.

About timeframe, the difference between May and September isn't much and might be some time for you to get more money before you depart.

Thank you so much ✅. Your advice is very much appreciated. I didn’t get what you meant by ‘studying without a structure’.. can you please expatiate? Thank you.

do you think you will meet up with 23rd Nov deadline? That is the date for the final submission of the mature financial statement to the school
I don't think so. Nov 23rd is the deadline to pay the 2,000pounds deposit. It's not the deadline for the 28days POF.

VISA ALERT

Application Type: Student Visa PhD

Applied on the 16th of October

Rescheduled Biometric earlier set for 20th October to 21st October (next day)

I did Biometrics on the 21st of October in Abuja (Priority)

Received a Non straight forward mail on the 25th of October

Sent a paid email to UKVI on the 30th of October

Received an email about decision on 2nd November

Collected my visa via courier 5th November

Student visa valid till Jan 1st, 2026

It is instructive to note that I had an immigration problem with regards "overstaying" in the UK ten years ago, which ultimately carries a 10 year ban. I wasn't sure if I was effectively on a ten year ban or not but had to wait for 10 years to apply to enter the UK again. At some point I wasn't sure what to expect of the outcome, thats why this outcome is a super relief for me and a shot at second chance.

I am grateful to everyone here whose inputs I learnt from and believe more testimonies will come out from here.

Off to Glasgow in a couple of weeks.

You can visit any commercial bank..preferably where you already have an account. You will be needing the following documents:
BSC CERTIFICATE
ADMISSION LETTER WITH THE ACCOUNT DETAILS OF THE SCHOOL
DATA PAGE OF YOUR PASSPORT.
You will need to fund your account with the Naira equivalent..the official rate for dollar now is 412..if you convert to pounds it’s 570-572. There are some extra charges..swift and offshore charges of like 50 dollars.
That should be all.

I don't think so. Nov 23rd is the deadline to pay the 2,000pounds deposit. It's not the deadline for the 28days POF.
don’t talk about what you are not sure of. Go and verify so that the school will not move you to the next intake, Sept., 2022. Good luck

Coming to Scotland (Glasgow or Paisley), to be exact. I arrived with my family 23rd of September. It was not easy settling down, thanks to a beautiful Nigerian family I met here on Nairaland. They have never met me. However, they took the risk to stand as a guarantor for a three-bedroom flat. It's been God all the way. Please feel free to ask me a question of gratitude to this forum in my own little way.
very heartwarming... I wish to study at Scotland too. I am praying that things work out by next summer, in order to enroll in my course and travel to UK by then by God's grace

Not at the moment.

Most of our funds (including my school fees balance) is already tied up in my dependents 28days POF . Hoping my hubby will come in and pitch in to make up for it when he starts working here too.

justwise:

Do you have the remaining 50%?
