What does it mean to Worship in Spirit and in truth, as stated in John 4:24?
"God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth."

Worshipping in Spirit refers to worshipping God sincerely and voluntarily with a pure and sincere heart! God desires us to engage our heart and mind in loving him and adhering to his commandments.

However, sincerity is NOT enough, we must also worship Him in TRUTH! Yes, true worship with a sincere heart is the only acceptable form of worship to God as stated in his guiding principles - the bible.

The bible graciously defines truth in three ways:
1. Jesus is the Truth - John 14:6 - Jesus is a perfect example of what and how we can worship God!
2. The Bible is the truth - John 17:17; the word of God and should be the only reference for what is the truth.
3. The commandments of God are the truth - Psalm 119:151; the traditions or commandments of men cannot pass as truth; only the commandments given by God constitutes the truth.

This is what i mean when i say you're deceiving yourself.
The spiritual language is very difficult for faithless people to grasp but i'll explain for the benefit of other followers.

The phrase "Only begotten Son of God"

Means this is the one and only person who can teach mankind how to get the best life ever because he has been taught by the Most High God in order that he may also teach us!

So instead of asking further questions about who Jesus really is, the most sensible thing to ask is "where are those who have been taught by this so called only begotten Son of God?" WHY? Because Jesus said:

By their fruits you will recognize them. Never do people gather grapes from thorns or figs from thistles, do they? Likewise, every good tree produces fine fruit, but every rotten tree produces worthless fruit. A good tree cannot bear worthless fruit, nor can a rotten tree produce fine fruit. Matthew 7:16-18

So it's how imperfect humans like you and i are able to make LOVE, JOY and PEACE reign in their gathering without the use of force or weapons that will stand as EVIDENCE that they've been taught by God's Son! Matthew 5:13-16

Whatever they call him is immaterial because Jesus already said "by their FRUITS (how far they're able to operate PEACEFULLY within their gathering not their slogan) you will know them" since Jesus is the Prince of Peace! Isaiah 9:6

So asking whether he is Michael makes you a baby researcher Sir, if he says "YES" then you'll begin to argue fruitlessly and if he say "NO" does that makes their gathering Holy?

Well spoken. It is sad that many still try to divide the clear truth of the bible with the denominational sentiments.

I ask that to know who advent say he is as long as they believe error then they won't know who Jesus is MaxInDHouse I have taught him who Jesus and holy spirit is many times he is God Almighty and holy spirit is God Almighty but you are free to believe evil teachings saying he is angel

You are so concerned about prejudice that you have not attempted to discuss the very purpose/topic of this thread.
