Ironsi was in Charge of the Army

he used Nzeogwu and Ifeajuna as Pawns to Carry out his Coup though Nzeogwu in all honesty thought he was being part of a revolution and had no idea he was being used to do Ironsi's dirty Work for him

By the time Nzeogwu knew what was really going on it was too late and Ironsi had already taken Power

Go and read about Azikiwe's ACB Bank Scandal it was the main reason the British didn't want to hand Power to Azikiwe so he wouldn't Bankrupt Nigeria before it got the Chance to be a Nation like he had Bankrupted the ACB Bank

Nnamdi azikiwe ACB case has nothing to do with how he governed the eastern Region, was Eastern Region bankrupt? corruption and political fights of bloodshed started in the South West, that was what led to the coup in the first place

You don't have a Clue don't you?

How do you think Azikiwe managed to pay for all the Land he acquired by force from the Natives of Port Harcourt under the Cover of the Eastern Region Govt only to redistribute the Land to his Kinsmen, Family and Friends

By the time the Civil War Began only 7% of Port Harcourt Land was in the Hands of the Natives
Azikiwe had used force to acquire the rest because most of the Natives of Port Harcourt almost never Sold their Land it was against their Culture

My friend stop the fiction, no body forced anyone to sell lands to the igbos, who are these portarcout natives you talk about? British Nigeria was answering to great Britain , and the so called portarcout natives didn't take the case to court?
Right now igbos have properties in portarcout same way they did before the war, who forced the so called natives to sell lands to igbos after the war?

These is where Nigerian political problems started

Operation Wet ẹ (: wet him/her) was a violent protest that took place in Western Nigeria between violent political factions, the Hausa-Fulani natives and some members of the Nigerian National Democratic Party during the First Republic which eventually led to the first military coup in Nigeria on 15 January 1966.

The term "Operation Wet ẹ" was coined from the setting ablaze of politicians and their properties with petrol, with many victims of the political violence killed by "necklacing." During the early 1960s, violence was on a rapid rise in the political system of Nigeria which led to the introduction of Operation Wetie whereby political gangs were used to disrupt elections.

Operation Wet ẹ was significantly used in 1962 when Chief Ladoke Akintola and Chief Obafemi Awolowo were embroiled in a protracted crisis thus leading to a high rate of violence and acts of lawlessness with law makers engaging themselves in vicious physical combats in the Western regional

Yeah right. Have you even researched Ironsi. If you did you’ll see he was a great soldier or commander of men but not a politician and had ZERO ambition.

The then parliament or what was left of it handed over to him.

The truth is that Zik was instead of advocating for three/four nations wanted by all means to be leader of the the NIGGER AREA and today you see there is still no unity.

Go and talk to the Natives of Port Harcourt

I'm asking you a simple question, you claim azikiwe forced portarcout natives to sell lands to igbos before the civil war, fine, everything was taken back during the war, who forced them to sell the lands back to igbos again cause igbos have a lot of lands and properties in portarcout? undecided

I'm still waiting for answers, who forced portarcout natives to resell lands to igbos after the war, cause the lands and properties igbos have in portarcout now is more than what they had before the war, do you know the founder of Omega power ministry from Abia state, has lands in portarcout that the so called natives will only dream of?

Do you think that 93% of Port Harcourt Land is in the hands of Non Natives like before the War ?

On freehold O !
Not on leasehold that would have returned the land to the Natives after 100 years.

Azikiwe used his Position as Premier to Forcefully acquire Much of Port Harcourt Land on freehold for Govt Projects only for him to redistribute the Port Harcourt Natives land to his friends and family

Today Port Harcourt Land can only be bought on a 99 years leasehold and the State Government holds the land in trust for its people it can revoke the C of O of any Land that is Problematic

Imagine if Buhari used his Position and Ruga mentality to acquire 93% of your Hometown Land for his friends and family With your People loosing all their rights ovr their ancestral land that they never wanted to sell
How would you feel?

Those were the issues that pushed Isaac Boro to carry out his Niger Delta Revolution just before the War

What do you think caused the Abandoned Property Saga after the War ?

You know how greedy Nigerians can get

The remaining 7% of the Port Harcourt Land might have been a hopelessly Waterlogged Swamp that they gave up on and decided to leave for the Natives

That was one reason why Isaac Boro was a very angry young man just put yourself in his Shoes

Let me recap Nigeria's problem. Her husband Aguiyi Ironsi changed our system of government from the parliamentary system to unitary system of government. We practice that system till today pretending to be a Federal system. Aguiyi Ironsi put Nigeria in big trouble. Leave all this Coup story

The Truth can be very Bitter sometimes

I understand

Ask the Port Harcourt Natives if the History isn’t true then report back

Ojukwu went even further and massacred the Port Harcourt Elites ,some he deported into refugee Camps in the South East where many died

But that is Past now and Nigerians have moved on
