Good day to each and everyone on this faceless platform that has done wondrous things for people in the past and still is doing so now. I read some mind opening details about study permits on a blog based in canada and I would like to share. If you'd like to read these chronicles yourself I'll drop the link at the end of this write up. In essence I'll summarize what you should keep at the back of your mind concerning the student visa processing according to VANCOUVER IMMIGRATION BLOG and maybe these findings will help with how we view these operations. 1.) Not all DLI are treated the same by IRCC. DLI'S with better reputation gives candidates an edge in securing their visas i.e UNIVERSITIES HAVE BETTER REPUTATIONS THAN COLLEGES. 2.) Dual intense is acceptable but it could be a reason for rejection if the VO senses the applicant has a single intent(no intention to return). even if an application qualifies for the visa. 3.) if you are student from a refusal producing county e.g Nigeria, You need to demonstrate you're bona fide candidate. i.e scholarships, prove of adequate finance and even with all these it's still by CHANCE you'll be able to secure a visa. 4.) don't be fraudulent in any way especially with banks/creditors who are willing to bend the rules to assist you. same thing with language tests. you will be caught. 5.) IRCC informs the VO'S of the fraud level relating to immigrantion of certain countries i.e Nigeria. With this information in mind your application is under more scrutiny and the VO'S also keep in mind that the larger percentage of applications coming from that country is going to be a refusal. 6.) you could have the best grades and best stories and you will still be refused as 50-60% of applications will be refused. where will these refusals come from?. it's very unlikely it'll be from france,UK or US. ITS from 3rd world countries like nigeria and india e.t.c 7.) your application is decided using a microsoft excel spread sheet. with this method your pre-assesment(whatever you filled on your IMM FORM) will be very important to making decisions on your profile. this method also helps the VO'S work faster although there's a possibility that IRCC is changing to an AMAZON based system of operation. 8.) The process involved in processing your visa application is 50% A.I driven. it is said that these applications are divided into 3 group most likely by the A.I. 'The simple case file', 'The fairly difficult' and 'the Complicated case files'. the files in the complicated case files are most likely going to be refused. at least 80% of them. 9.) Reasons for refusal are documented only after refusal and I mean the ones you see on your notes. even with this, the reasons documented on your notes are thinned out as well. the bulk of the information is retained on IRCC internal systems. 10.) due to the high rate of applications everything happens by chance and the best way to push luck in your favor is to set your application in such a way that the most important pieces that can convince the VO'S are put first in your file. I.e puting your SOP as the first document in your proof of finance column. Link: https://vancouverimmigrationblog.com/tag/international-student-refusal/ 11 Likes 2 Shares |

I've been unable to reply or comment on nairaland for almost 2 weeks now. So here is me dropping my testimony of PPR. I've been a silent follower of this thread and I have gained so much from it Application date: may 17th Biometric collection request: May 18th 2021 I did my biometric a week later and IRCC refused to update my biometric ( I was really worried ) July 8th biometric updated to passed ( after raising webform) Upfront medical: August 5th Medical passed: August 12 Started raising webform everyday ( there was no change on my eligibility review, background check) On September 27th elegibility review started and my medical was updated to passed for the second time Bvl and PPR dropped on September 30th Just want to God and the good people of nairaland. The wait was very exhausting but still, it's worth it. For those still waiting for PPR, just chill and believe Lemme add this First time applicant I had no traveling. In fact my passport was collected December last year solely for this Canada parole Went for an undergraduate degree in Computer science even though I had a National Diploma in Civil engineering Technology 30 Likes |
