Frankly there are different types of methods you can adopt to study and pass your exams. The question is, do you need to study for very long hours to show that you have really studied?

Basically, all study methods fall into these 2 categories.

1. Quantity of study
2. Quality of study

1. Quantity of study-This is a situation whereby you spend long hours studying. This is just to satisfy the conventional study method that you studied for several hours when preparing for your exams.

It does not matter whether you assimilate anything or not, whether you understand the subject matter or not, it also does not matter whether it sinks or not. You are just studying for the sake of studying.

So, when you don't pass, you will blame the exam body for not passing you; you can show your spouse how long you have studied. You can easily tell people around you to justify the reason why you did not pass.

Whereas in reality, it is all a caricature studying or let me package it small by saying that it is the kind of studying you adopt when reading a novel.

Now let's move on to the next method of study...

2. Quality of study: under this circumstance, you are very sincere with yourself because you know that this is no longer school days where you don't have any responsibility other than to eat, sleep and read.

In this reality, all your energy has been dissipated into other things like work pressure, protecting and providing for the family, and solving unending family issues.

So, under this circumstance, you focus on how long you can assimilate. If it is 30mins or 1hour, you pause there to continue later in the day or the following day based on your time table.

Students under this category, always study daily, they don't study to impress anyone. They study to pass and qualify.
