mohtunrahyor:I think Tesco international mobile calling app is the cheapest @ 11.5p per minute. I have been using it for a while now. Just download the app. You get £1 upon registration. 3 Likes 1 Share |

zxxtx: If you have an Airtel SIM card that is still functioning, you can use that. They charge N38.00 per minute if you call Nigeria with it from the UK. And if you recharge I think N3,000.00, you get I around hundred plus free incoming call minutes. So you can recharge their line back home to call your number at normal rate and you receive the call for free here. I have been using them for months now. Sometimes, the voip calls can be frustrating due to the recipient poor reception. 3 Likes

rayralph: Sorry for diving deep. Look at this analysis. A student has 4 banks. Namely. Revolut, monzo, nawest and wise. He linked his monzo to his employer with NI, and that is where his employer pays his 20hour work salary into. Now this student still does fiverr job and takes his earning into the revolut and natwest. Would the hrmc find out. Or they can only know about what comes into the monzo since that is the one the employer pays into and that is the one tied to the NI |

rayralph: So, if I receive £2,000 in my account from abroad, the tax man will come for his share? If I am freelancing and get the money sent to my Naija account and then route to the UK, how will the tax man know especially if it wasn't received from the UK and with a company account? |

Guys please I have a question... I was just looking through the scale up visa rules on gov.uk and I saw where it said you can leave your employer after the first six months and you can renew without a sponsor for a further 3 Yr period... It wasn't clear to me if you can leave to any category of employer or if it must be another scale up company..someone pls share more informed insight pls and thanks |

Japarains from Nijia are selling their properties and resigning from their plum jobs and japing straight into this economic crisis . eniola1010: Please be patient with these things, all will fall in place in time. Usually, after 6 months with your mainstream bank, they will let you have their lowest (high interest) credit card. This is the case with NatWest, if you use them as your main bank account, i.e you salary and bills in and out of the account. I know barclaycard will also give you their foundation credit card after you have maintained a main bank account for 6-12m. Your bank account also helps with your credit record so you don't necessarily need to rush to get a credit card. Take your time please because credit searches also have a negative effect on your record. In the meantime, you can register on the electoral roll because you're from a commonwealth country, just search electoral register on google and use the gov.uk link. 1 Like |
