He insisted it was all false and he needs them to investigate and show him CCTV evidence or something. . There were other black agency workers that worked there on that day and this could be a case of mistaken identity. Do we need to talk to a lawyer?

I just wanted to rant small on my passport biometrics experience at Nigeria Commission, London.

My appointment time was for 11 am today (04.04 23). I arrived there right on time, thinking tops, 2 hours to conclude and leave. After the checks at the entrance, I was given number 3** but once I entered the waiting room, omo, see crowd. They were just receiving documents for number 220 and I was in the mid 300 range. I sha waited until about 1.30 before my documents were collected, this was just stage 1.

After this, to move to stage 2 became war. I observed some people who did not even do the stage 1 submission going straight to enrolment based on IMM (ahh, ayemi temi)! Children were so uncomfortable, crying and wailing up and down, and I definitely wouldn't blame them. After what seemed like an eternity, and after the 'fast track' people were serviced, right about 3.30pm, the coordinator incharge then decided to go back to the order of numbers given at the start and things started moving slowly.
I didn't get called until about 4.30 (for an 11am appointment). My heart went out to those who had to travel back to Wales, Scotland etc same day and had booked their flight/train.
I eventually captured and left the commission at about 5.07pm.
Morale of the rant: you can leave Nigeria but Nigeria will always follow you everywhere you go

Ps: to make your experience slightly better, pls go with the following documents
1. Your C4 special delivery envelope (buy from the post office) cost about £6.85
2. Your 20 pound postal order addressed to the high commission (check their website for the correct addresse)
3. Your NiN print out (must match your passport name and order)
4. Your passport payment slip
5. Your acknowledgement form

The above is correct as at today Apr 4, 2023.

E be like Lawyers dey call this one "Assassination of Character".
Getting a lawyer might be necessary here claiming their accusations has affected you psychologically and financially. An your image being seen as a th!ef.

Oyibo them dey run am and you will be expecting hundreds if not millions of pounds for that accusing you wrongly.
Lawyers in the house should tell us better on how it can be done.

Candid advice.....quit the journey!!!!! If you can not do without each other, then never ever ever have kids. That would be very selfish. The cold here will deal unjustly with those kids.

And I don't think Caucasians suffer the sickle cell disease, so there isn't any concrete government support.

Give this decision a hard thought!!!

If you want to have kids in the future, start saving towards PGD + IVF with private hospitals as I do not think the NHS will fund such treatment.

Also I have never heard of any Government programs specifically tailored towards your situation but you can check online.

What sort of programs do you mean? I don't know what it's like in Nigeria, but in the UK you would have several tests when pregnant - including genotype. If your genotype is confirmed to be AS, your partner wil be invited to get his genotype tested. If he is confirmed to be AS then you both would be advised on the probability and implications of giving birth to a child with an AS or SS genotype. If a child is born with SS, they would receive surveillance and treatment as required.

On prima facie basis, that is on face value of your narrative, e wrongo on all level.
Simply ans: get a lawyer and get the moola. All of 'em.

Quick one. The talk or excuse about GDPR or UK DPA and CCTV, in your specific instance, is gibberish. Dem just get kwashiorkor or diarrhea for mouth.

Write and tell them you are making a Data Subject Access Request under the GDPR Article 15 for all information they have relating to him, and especially in respect of the accusations against him, including CCTV.

Took my theory test today.

Guess what! I failed...😃

And no, it wasn't the multiple choice questions (45/50), it was the hazard perception (37/70).

At clip 6, it flagged my clicking pattern. Marks were lost for that. Took caution and simply clicked on the real danger...the result na 37 ooo. My lesson: the exam click pattern is totally different from the 4-in-1 pattern.

I'm really pained😭 cos I messed up, having to queue again for their endless test dates.

Can't remember the last time I failed an exam/test.🤪

IVF is the only way forward on this.
I had 2 friends who are sicklers, Snoop died in January and the 2nd is still alive.
We used to buy him codeine in order to get high and forget his sorrows.

That is to say; if you've decided never to sleep with your two eyes closed at night for years and still be at risk of loosing your child, you can go ahead. But if you cherish peaceful nights and detests going to hospital more than you goes to work, abort that 'Love or goal'; your choice.

Just to make it clear that you don’t have to deposit the 1250 at a once. You can split it how you want say 400.400.250 and move the money around in your accounts.

It’s just need to sum up minimum 1250 £ within 60 days of creating the account.
