Coincidentally, the Senior Pastors of the 1st and 3rd churches marked for demolition by Akwa Ibom State Government fellowshipped together on Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at the International Ministers' Flaming Conference 2021, held at Dunamis International Gospel Center, Glory Dome, Abuja.

In the photo below, Senior Pastor of God's House of Refuge, the 3rd church marked for demolition by the state government, Pastor Ezekiel Atang is spotted at the Ministers' Conference officiated by the Senior Pastor of Dunamis International, Pastor Dr. Paul Enenche, at Dunamis International Gospel Center, Glory Dome Abuja.

Dunamis International, Ikpa Road, Uyo, is the 1st church on the list and they are likely to be the 1st church that will welcome the "Demolition Man".

Also spotted in the photo is the Senior Pastor of Full Life Christian Center, Rev. Ntia I. Ntia, whose ministry is not on the list of about-to-be demolished churches.

The only person missing in the photo is Apostle Nnyeneime Andy, Senior Pastor of Holy Ghost Ambassador International, Uyo, whose church is 2nd on the list.

The questions on the lips of Akwaibomites about the recent development however remain;

1. Are these churches the only structures in their locations that fall short of the state building code?
2. Is this demolition politically motivated?
3. Does this demolition have anything to do with the alleged Fathers of Faith vs Sons of Faith skirmish?
4. Has the Governor and his administration suddenly parted ways with the things of God?
5. Are these Pastors persecuted for touching the untouched part of politics?
6. Are the enforcers of this demolition used as puns in the hands of the government?
7. Is everything OK with the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Akwa Ibom State Chapter?
8. Will CAN back this demolition? Will they kick against it?
9. Will these demolitions be carried out at all or will it be just a threat, a business as usual?
10. How will these demolitions benefit the government and the Akwa Ibom people in general?
11. Will there be any consequences if these demolitions are carried out?

For clarity, the following churches have been marked for demolition by the Akwa Ibom State Government;

1. Dunamis Church, Ikpa Road opposite Uniuyo
2. Holy Ghost Ambassador Int'l, Ekpanya
3. God's House of Refuge, Ikot Ebido Oku Uyo.

According to Uyo Capital City Development Authority, UCCDA, the affected structures do not meet planning standards for approval as the buildings negate the minimum requirement for its development.

UCCDA points to inadequate setbacks, space standards, building lines, and area distribution.

Only time will tell what becomes of this incidence as Governor Udom Emmanuel's succession plan creeps in.
