The strike does nothing but punish imolites. Why should everyone suffer for some personal cause. If the government refuses to obey the judgment, there are judicial processes that can be used, issue contempt proceedings against the Attorney general, he does not have immunity.

There was neither a demolished fuel station nor a court judgement relating to Imo State Government but rather an increase in Petrol Station levy form 200k to 1.6 million by the present Government. He has met with the group and agreed to reduce the 1.6 million so the strike has been called off.
