It pains every Igbo person that a peaceful and idyllic Imo state has been in the news for very bad reasons. Igbos should be very careful not to allow the enemies creep in through Imo state because of one incompetent and supreme court governor who wants to appease his northern masters and play to the gallery. Igbos are the most understanding people especially when it comes to protecting their lives and property. No tribe reveres and shows sacrosanctity of life like Igbos. This virtue is dripping and being frittered away quickly in Imo state.
Why do we have to lose young people in Imo state every day because Hope lacks what it takes to douse tension, listen to his people, understand their fears and make a state peaceful? Must Hope turn Imo a once peaceful state into a northern state where blood flows like water? Must he go against the will of Igbo community? Was that his oath of secrecy? Who does the killings of young people in Imo thrill? This is very worrisome!

1. It is only in Imo that a police commissioner sets markets, homes, hotel and village residents of suspects on fire before investigation. As bad as north is no house of even known terrorists is burnt down by police or soldiers but Imo suspects houses are razed down by security and there is a governor.

2. It is in Imo that young Igbo youths are gunned down, extorted and labelled ESN to cover up. And Hope is not worried.

3. It is only in Imo that widows who are owed for six months were chased out of government house while the police slapped and attempted to shoot a journalist who interviewed the widows.

4. It is only Imo governor who is not disturbed by the killings across Nigeria by Fulani herdsman and he ran to Abuja to say he has no anti-open grazing law.
Haa! What have we done to deserve this type of disaster in Imo state?

5. It is only Imo state, an oil producing state that a litre of fuel is sold for N1000.
As bad and terrorised as north is, a litre of fuel is not more than 250 at the black market. The supreme court governor is not concerned after all the people didn't choose him. This is what other governors who know what they're doing resolve in a day. Hope's incompetence is causing unnecessary pains.

6. It is only in Imo that we don't celebrate good projects like Anambra, Enugu and Ebonyi States are doing. All we hear is killing, fight, vendetta, propaganda and gross abuse of human right. God save Imo state. Igbos rise up!
