You can wear this if the organization is into creative arts/entertainment (especially startups). That would be considered a fashion statement: bold, unconventional and progressive. Don't tell me you want to put on shorts to a bank or other places of work where professionalism is considered a driving force. That would send a lot of messages, none of which would be good. Lol.
