I am not a mother, but my sister put to bed over 10 months ago. She gave her baby just breastmilk for 6 solid months, no water or formula. After 6months, she added Ogi baba (red corn), Nutrient formular and custard |

it all depends on the mother and baby. if the mother is working, she won't be available to breastfeed as often as she pleases. if the baby doesn't fancy breastmilk, the mother will have no choice but to switch to formula. i intend to breastfeed exclusively for at least five months, but hope to go on as long as 1 year, 3 months. |
