I know this much because I did my NYSC in Rural/Boarding sec. School in Katsina. I encountered many teachers in the course of service and all I could do was pity the innocent pupils and students.

There is an URGENT need to remove unqualified teachers and employ, young qualified graduates on merit and train them. Gov. El Rufai boldly tried it in Kaduna but was thoroughly frustrated and blackmailed. But that's the only way out.

You really need to read and understand before reacting. There are cases where schools admit northern candidates with grades lower than a southern candidate. It's meant to favour the north and it's not a fair practice. A northern governor is speaking against it and you can't comprehend before throwing insults.

Lols, there's a reason why relative mediocrity is percieved by most people concerning northerners generally.

An average person in the north know what he wants, and by all means sets out to pursue it. If it's cow he does it with a level of immense diligence and he's comfortable in that forte, as long as he's engaged in what he wants he doesn't strife for something more, no higher goals or trail blazing target's.
