Can your CV (Curriculum Vitae) pass the 5 seconds test?

The first question you need to ask yourself as a job seeker is; do I know what a good CV looks like? If yes, then can it pass the 5 seconds test?

Generally, most jobseekers think the CV is a place where you get to explain all your relevant experiences, but sadly no. The main objective of the CV is to get the hiring manager's attention to be focused on you from the loads of CV's received daily.

But in order for your CV to stand out you must pass the 5 seconds test by getting the hiring manager's attention thereby giving you more time at least 20 seconds to tell your story. If you succeed in that, there is a good chance you are getting moved on to the next round of the hiring process.
