Bottled water or pure water business has become cash cow for entrepreneur that know their way, the reason is not far fetch, since water is part of basic necessity of life. No one can eat with out having water by their side.

But water is every where na?

Sure water can be found almost any where especially if you are living in southwest you can easily get water from your neighbor tap if you don't have one.

But is it clean and easily available?
Ofcourse no, you can only get clean water from a process of filtration which require sophisticated machine. Traveller, visitor, hotelier who don't know a place can't get such water easily.

Pure water or bottled water business is a good business provided that you carry out a thorough research and identity a community/local government that has a water problem and not only that they are in dire need of solution.

To move forward below are steps you need to take to establish a successful pure water or bottled water business. I will like you to go through this steps with a note.

Feasibility study/business plan

For any business in this life the first step is feasibility study. You need to carryout a survey in your propose location where you want to setup your business, your survey should contain the following

Problem identification

Is there a water problem in that location, and how are they solving it, will they patronise your solution.
Age segment of the location

You will want your location to have young people because youth tends to patronise drinkable product than old people who might think its a waste of money.

Affordability/profitability

What is their economic value?

Will they buy at a price that will be profitable to you.

Competition

Check around how many business are producing pure water?

If they are many, there is no need to panick you just have to defferntiate your pure water business, may be you will bottled your own or put Co2 in your water to make it Spackle, just thinks outside the box.

Business plan

Once you are convince that there is a water problem that is begging for solution in a location then you can start your business plan. Business plan is just a roadmap to how you will go from year to year usually five years.

Most time your business plan will get knock off at your second year its no problem, it hard to see business plan that will still stand for two year.

Business registration

Can I skip this step?

No, unlike other business that can move without registration, pure water business will need a registration with NAFDAC and one of their requirement is your.........
