An Edtech Building A Marketplace Of Live Interactive Courses Asking For Feedback by thenews: 1:39am On Sep 08, 2021
Having run a bootcamp (and utilizing multiple edtech platforms) to learn data science, we learnt that the most effective way to learn a new skill requires three pillars;

1. Personalized Feedback
This can occur in the form of having a live instructor to interact with, get personalized feedback from and help you gauge your progress

2. Collaborative
Learning with peers encourages greater engagement and keeping you more consistent

3. Practicality
Working on projects, applying the skills you learn to have a more practical understanding

We built a marketplace of live courses merging these pillars (that you would typically get from a bootcamp) with the optionality and flexibility of MOOCs, enabling you to take on courses with a high level of personalization for a cost effective price (fees start as a low as 5000 Naira). In each course learners are placed in study groups (online and offline in the near future) to give you 'study buddies' to learn with inbetween your live tutorials and we are hoping to establish learning centers in the near future to give learners in certain areas spaces to work from and collaborate with other people in person (in person collaboration is just so much more fun). Our courses are created and hosted by experienced professionals and companies, maximizing their real world practicality; covering topics in Data Science, Analytics, Data Engineering, Product Management, Software Engineering, DevOps and No Code.

Interested to ask a few questions;
1. If you are looking to get into tech, does our platform sound like a viable platform to learn through?
2. What are the biggest pain points you have encountered learning a technical skill online?
3. What are the key factors you consider before deciding to pay for a course?
