So when they say the size of a parcel of land is 60x120ft, to convert this to meter you would simply multiply both length and breadth by 0.305;

(60*0.305)x(120*0.305)m
= 18.3m x 36.6m
By approximation
60x120ft = 18x36m

And in Squaremeter(sqm), you will multiply the length in meters by the breadth in meters.
I.e (18*36)sqm = 648sqm
