3 Reasons Why Students Are Thrown Off Balance In The Exam Hall... by planetpgold(m): 5:22pm On Sep 08, 2021
Timothy Here Again,

Some students have placed limitations on themselves that they don't have what it takes to pass their ICAN Exams. As a result, they kept postponing their exams diet in, diet out.

Or why are you scared to write your ICAN Exams when you already have the greatest computer, storage, and processing mechanism in the universe? YOUR BRAIN

Frankly, you might have only a few gigabytes of storage space, similar to space in an android or iPhone or a USB flash drive. Yet, neurons combine so that each one helps with many memories at a time.

Exponentially increasing the brain's memory storage capacity to something closer to around 2.5 petabytes (or millions of gigabytes). But to me storage capacity is limitless and scientists also said that we have only been able to use 10% of our brain capacity.

The brain is the most complex organ in the human body. Your brain determines how you experience the world around you.

Now in spite of all the massive attributes of the brain, why are students still thrown off balance in the exam hall? Why is it that some students don't remember what they have read? Why is it that when it gets to courses of either theoretical or calculations, students still have issues tackling the questions?

From my experience and research, 3 things are responsible.

1. Self-limiting beliefs about the courses: Some students have conditioned themselves to prepare for some topics. So, if the examiner sets something different from their expectation, then they are thrown off balance. Whereas the brain has the capacity to capture everything in the topic.

2. Unstructured method: studying inconsistently is a perfect sign of non-readiness and as a result, your mind will not take you seriously for anything you do.

3. Last-minute Study: This is a method of study that has made several students abandon the exams because what they go through while studying is just too uncomfortable for their body system and at the end of the day, they still do not pass. As a result, it is easy to postpone the exam.

As Socrates says, _an unexamined life is not worth living_. Look inwards and examine your world view, your approach to the exams, then make the necessary adjustments needed. I would have love to recommend you a method but each function based on the peculiarity of the individual
