Because say people dey chop palm oil pass Ororo.. No weapon fashion against Palm oil shall prosper.. [/quote] What you don't know is bigger than you. My problem with NAFDAC is lack of proper enforcement and punishment of health related issue violators but covertly collect bribe. What they are saying is true. Go to Ikon market in Cross River State where this adulterated palm oil is been sold despite the abundant availability of original palm oil. Late Prof Dora Akunyili comes to mind. NAFDAC died the day she Left the agency They add the said substance to the original palm oil and boil it together in a drum and fetch into gallon for distribution to the unsuspecting and innocent public who cannot differentiate between the original and fake oil. I thank God for my Wife |

Doubleoh7: Words and thoughts like these are not deep at all. Both the govt and the governed have a blame in it. Also, normally whenever you have serious hardship like the one people are currently facing in this country some people tend to do heartless things just to survive and feed their families.. anywhere in the world not just Nigeria. You create beasts from a hoard of hungry people. Evils like these tend to reduce when there is economic prosperity and there are jobs people can do to survive. Absolving the govt of responsibility shows you don't understand the trickle down effect of bad govt policies over the years. You just don't understand. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Nafdac has become a shit organization without any proactive method to curb this incessant fake stuffs that they are created to protect us from. Lagos is full of fake food stuffs from red oil, honey, fake garri, fake rice, fake sardines too numerous to mention and these are foods we consume daily. Let me not even go into cosmetics, wines, full of fakes. Yet we have nafdac and SON doing wetin. Its only Ndlea that is doing their work for now. Nafdac dg needs to be sacked asap. 1 Like |

Emmerlee: Government is not an individual, Government is made up of persons drawn from the same Nigerian populace. If you were nurtured as a kid to never take another's thing without their knowledge and approval and you grow with it, even if you find yourself in Government tomorrow, you will never find stealing attractive. Build the family unit today as it used to be before and watch our society start changing for the better |

mirinder: Most times I take it upon my self to lectures this startups packaging local foods and drinks whenever they are seeking registration. The product most confirm with human health safety first before profit. It may cost a little to do the right thing but where your products will get to you may never had been there. Your brother or sisters may be the one consuming the poorly package products in the name of profit over quality.
