Lagoon Hospitals needs a Biomedical Engineer.

In Nigeria, Lagoon Hospitals has continually provided international-standard treatment. 

The Hospital was founded in 1984 by Professor Emmanuel and Professor (Mrs.) Oyin Elebute and starting operations in 1986 as a supplier of integrated healthcare services, is now Nigeria's largest private healthcare services group, with six hospitals.

The Joint Commission International has accredited Lagoon Hospitals as the only Nigerian hospital group and only two in Sub-Saharan Africa. 

The Hospitals were accredited for the first time in 2011 and were re-accredited in 2015, 2018, and 2021.

The Hospital is looking to recruit for the position of Biomedical Engineer.

Lagos

Key Responsibilities
Perform operational and safety testing on all clinical equipment and assist other staff with correct biomedical equipment usage and preventive maintenance across the Hospital.
Ensure that oxygen is available at all Lagoon Hospitals regularly.
Maintain a database while evaluating the safety, efficiency and efficacy of biomedical equipment.
The candidate will provide biomedical equipment operation, demonstrations, and training to other healthcare personnel in the use and care of the equipment.
Train team members and end-users across facilities to use equipment properly and maintain it following safety procedures.
Prepare biomedical reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends to predict likely outcomes.
The candidate will advise Medical Directors on the planning, acquisition and use of medical equipment to maximize the life span.

Key Requirements
The candidate should have at least two years of work experience.

Qualifications
