I am just ten days into my new job as an accountant but right now ,I am so broke .

Does it make sense to ask for salary advance from my boss ?

I am just too shy but I need money a lot ..I have a wife and a kid who needs money and beside school will resume on Monday .

I need money to buy some stuffs for my son.

I know my boss will definitely grant the salary advance but it will make me look down on myself .

My 10-day job is #50,000 but I am thinking of getting an advance of #30,000.


Your advice pls ?

And beside ,I still want to sell the television I posted yesterday .If I see #40,000 ,a go sell am abeg .SAPA dey worry me like this till end of the month .

Kindly borrow money from your friends and family, so if you sell your television what would your family be watching...


If truly you have a new job, reach out to members of your family, they would definitely help knowing fully well that once you collect your salary, you will pay up.

They may not even give you.

Day 10 into a new job & you want salary advance, who does that?
If you are the Boss will you grant that request? All these wicked Nigerian Bosses I don't think they will.
It's better you sort it out from family & friends.
Bros try upgrade, that salary is too low to survive on in this present day Nigeria economy, especially as a family man. I kwn it's no easy.

Pls kindly ask your friends . Family members or extended fam members. If u didnt get from dem kindly approach a reputable loan app eg, 'branch or cabon' an get a loan. U r an accountant, if u ask him u wil loose some self confident and respect from him. Jus respect your privacy.
