Why don't you email them yourself and ask because I did and they said they do accept hnd

Don't be mistaken please. Their is a Naric assessment for purely English Language proficiency and only qualifications such as degree, masters and Phd will suffice. The other one is what you are referring to which will compare your qualification with that of the UK. For example, HND graduate level is at RQF 5, while a degree and masters degree level is RQF 6 and 7 respectively.

Let me be sincere with you, most nigerians that got their UK care employment got very early wen the program was newly launched and still freah unfortunately right now most UK employer are not willing to employ from abroad again as they discover it much cheaper to employ within UK as alot of foreign UK masters student regardless of fields are showing interest and taking care Job more than before and even with the influx of Ukrainians too is not helping the matter at all.
The faster route to get a care job is either you have the true industry experience with convincing evidence which the employer dont mind paying heavily to bring u in or find a uk master to do that will make bring u to uk and give you the eligibility to work in uk .Anything apart from this " go hard gan "!!

Fact!!

Thank you for your response.
I have gotten some care certificates from online studies. I will be completing a care assistant training in a hospital. I have an option to choose now....

Certificate of training. Or
Letter of recommendation (to whom it may concern stuff).

Please who knows the one that is more important?

But all that's in the past now....I seem to have realised that I'm way more than this care assistant shit and I'm looking to get enrolled in a school and actually get a better paid job with more dignity...and in a better country btw

I suggest people start reappropriating their funds too for better prospects....

So nobody should send me any foolish message, asking me to share the names of the organisations..

Please make sure what she wants to register for is UKVI general training which is 89,500 and it can be done on BC website. The one of 83,000 you talked about earlier is the IELTS standard which Home Office will not accept.

Thanks for ur input.... Pls can u enlighten me more about ukiv and home office

I asked them myself. They accept diploma too. You can email them to verify

You don't seem to understand it, they even evaluate waec or any school leaving certicate. I will attach the differences for you in picture, may be you will understand better that way. Maybe the person you email didn't get you clearly.

The first and second picture is your English proficiency which can only be degree, master, and PhD. Any other lower certificate will not give you the requirement that they need and that is why they don't accept it

The third and last pictures is for any certificate (even lower certificates) you want to evaluate but the sample you have there is for degree.

I find myself in a funny situation.
I got an IT-related offer in which the employer(NHS) insist on getting a Naric Evaluation to prove my Bsc is the same as that of the Uk. The HR explains that they need this to be done before they can issue a COS. Where I have a challenge is that there is industrial action at naija my uni and it would take a long time to get proficiency in English letter through the back door. As an alternative, I have PTE Academics UKVI, so all I require is the evaluation of my BSC alone. I tried initiating a Visas and Nationality (English proficiency) on Naric, with the mindset that the Bsc would be evaluated alone, but they keep asking for the proficiency in English letter.

Please, do anyone have experience evaluating education(B.Sc) alone while using IELTS or PTE UKVI for English proficiency, I really can't afford to b waiting for proficiency in English letter from uni as I cant attach a timeline to this process.

Please do whatever you can to collect that letter. Beg whoever you need to beg and bribe whoever you need to bribe, even if na VC. Don't let them use their problem to spoil yours. If hope it is resolve as soon as possible.

I have a very crucial question, is it possible to use a TB test certificate from an home office approved hospital in another country if I am going to have my biometrics in Nigeria?

As far as it carries the unique UKVI number, it's accepted

I did not ask them about comparability. I asked them directly about using diploma for naric, hnd in specific Why don't you ask them directly before uploading blur undiciperable pictures. Or are their staffs smoking weed?

It's like uk employers has totally locked tier 2 visa sponsorship to overseas applicants. They now prefer converting tier 4 to 2 . Its like they have even unionised the whole thing.

But the problem is, how many students will stay long/permanently on those jobs Because majority of those converting did not study any healthcare related course in Uni. So, if they see better offer in their line of study, they will leave those jobs.

Like the whole thing is annoying sef, who else is having delay on their COS after receiving their job offer letter?

It's now very difficult as in I wanted to use this route to move as a nurse but I now need to use other options. This route used to be as easy as abc last year. They will always go for people there before even turning their attention . Don't forget there are Indians and Filipinos to deal with. Am out

I am hoping to use this route for the betterment of my future generations and spend less due to the offer but now the light is beginning to be dim. Other options available are capital intensive. The end justify the means

Please is it possible for a CoS validity period to be for one year only?
I used to think the shortest amount of time for sponsorship is 3 years, but my cousin who just got hers from a Care Home was sponsored for only 1 year - HCA route.

Please does anyone know why this is and is it something she can extend when she gets to the UK?

Good to see this message , it's long overdue . Normally that Care worker 6145 is only eligible for 1 year Sponsorship as it was designed. This mean the program has just started properly . Let us expect good news as things changeses .
Re: UK Skilled Worker Visa / Health And Care Worker Visa / Qualified Teacher Route by Navaisha: 1:22pm On May 25, 2022
No. The route is open for one year, but the contracts can be as long as 5years. That care home is trying to cut cost by giving her a one year contract because it simply means that they pay the skills surcharge for just one year. Most contracts now are for 5 years (mostly the ones from nhs). She can ask for a longer contract or go there and start searching for another job with sponsorship about 3 months to the end of this contract. But they would probably ask to sign her for longer.

Also her contract might actually be for a charity worker visa (tier 5)

The route for senior carers, doesn’t have a cap like that of the health care assistants. Hopefully the UK government decides to leave it open indefinitely too.

Please I need info on how to pay for courses on Alison . I tried to pay for some courses I did and it declined. (Used a gtb master card.) Google asked me to register my card, then with a long of story I'm trying to figure out. Please I need info on any other way to pay. Thanks

If what you want to pay is more than $20 and you want to use a Naira card, it won't go.

The solution is to go to your bank and apply for a dollar card. Buy dollars from Bureau de Change and deposit it. Then you can pay.

Add them as dependents/people travelling with you with their pasport details.
Obviously, u wont apply for visa for them. Rem, u fill visa form for each person, so in this case, u fill for yoruself only.

Guys please help!!!

Which of these is more relevant for HCW in UK?

A certificate of training or a letter of recommendation from the employers where one is doing care giver training.

Please the decision is urgent.
Get both if you can. They value experience here over certificates as they will train you.
