Hello All,
I've been following the conversation for a while. Thank you to all your efforts to enlighten us on this pathway. please i have a few questions right now that need urgent answers.

1. MA and dependents had done TB test before getting an employer so we have a UK address different from employer on the result.
Now that there is an employer, do I need to go to IOM centre to change the address to my employer's address before application?

2. On my marriage certificate, hubby's middle name(MA) is written as "Dare" instead of "Oluwadare". All documents for application have "Oluwadare" which i don't foresee any issues except For Spouse dependent application. please, what needs to be submitted for Spouse to show that the Oluwadare(MA) is same as "Dare" in the marriage certificate.

3. Does hubby(MA) need to submit document to back this up in his own application even if "dare" isn't showing in any of his documents?

kindly help with this.

for your first question, there's no problem about leave it so, 2 go and swear affidavit in a court, that's all

Hello house, if COS has "Y" beside maintenance (and dependents if applicable), the person and their dependents don't need POF right?

For the first question, someone has similar issue... called IOM and it's about 8k to update address and no appointment needed.. just go to the front desk..

Mostly common to Nigerian agents - imagine a request for 6k GBP to get CoS only ( CoS only o, maintenance is not inclusive)
£6k is even cheap, I have seen £10k.
Some Nigerians are despicable, most of them have fraud running in their bloodline.
This attached image was sent to me from a WhatsApp group, you can imagine the wickedness of our fellow compatriots charging £16k for Caregiving job, how much is now the salary?

that's still better unlike the long wait (6months)
The reason for the wait is actually for CoS allocation. Most of them are waiting for allocation

This is a long thing when you can write B1 IELTS which is (Speaking only) for 85k or so and get your result and certificate within 10days.
is the cheapest and fastest way for Proof of English.
Olutala:
I have used it before. You need a letter from your school stating that you were taught in English, transcript and certificate.

Sure, some other countries do it which I am not disputing, and they are not loud. But why charge 16k for a minimum wage job of probably between 20k to 24k? Is that not wickedness and pure greed ?

@vanod, if you know that moniker(Lagosismyhome),you won't say this. Besides, she did not discourage OP. It is better we all learn to manage our expectations. The truth is a lot of agents are selling COS. However, people should not give up applying.

In addition to what you've said, people going through this care visa route need to be ready to withstand come what may for the duration of their contract. There is a lady on the living in the Uk thread who is been threatened to be returned back to Nigeria because she fed a client's dog 4times instead of 3.
