bukonlami: I’m not sure BUT I think once home office has been notified, they will send you a letter in form of a post or email telling you that you have 60 days from the issue date of the letter to switch to another visa or leave the country. If you also check your right to work online using your brp, you will see the same information. |

Tier4Dependant: What if I am able to secure another CoS before the 60 days do I still need to apply for another visa |
Re: UK Skilled Worker Visa / Health And Care Worker Visa / Qualified Teacher Route by Tier4Dependant: 12:05pm On May 16, 2023 |
bukonlami: When they say switch b4 60days, I believe they mean you must secure another CoS, submit a visa application and get a successful outcome all within the 60 days. I stand to be corrected. What I am not particularly sure about is whether the outcome of the visa application must be out before the 60 days lapses or as long as you have made the application before the 60 days you are fine. |

Tier4Dependant: The question now is if I successfully get a company to give me a Cos do I need to reapply for visa. |
Re: UK Skilled Worker Visa / Health And Care Worker Visa / Qualified Teacher Route by advanceDNA: 1:45pm On May 16, 2023 |
bukonlami: Tier4Dependant has responded correctly.... the employer will report to home office about the dismissal...because they usually want to get the money they paid for your years of sponsorship/immigration skill charge.... Then ur 60 day clock start ticking....as home office will notify u... u must get another COS and apply b4 the 60 days ends or leave the country....... dont go home ooo...if u travel to naija..they wont let u in even if ur 60 days has not expired.... 1 Like |

Navigating the UK Job Market: Tips for Finding Employment in a Competitive Market In today's highly competitive job market, finding employment can be a daunting task, especially in the United Kingdom. With a diverse workforce and an increasing number of qualified candidates, it's crucial to have a strategic approach to stand out from the competition. This article will provide you with valuable tips to navigate the UK job market successfully and increase your chances of finding the right employment opportunity. Polish Your CV and Cover Letter: Your curriculum vitae (CV) and cover letter are your first impressions on potential employers. Tailor your CV to highlight relevant skills, experiences, and achievements that align with the job requirements. Ensure that your cover letter is concise, well-written, and showcases your enthusiasm for the position. Customizing your application materials for each job application demonstrates your attention to detail and genuine interest in the role. Leverage Networking: Networking plays a pivotal role in the UK job market. Expand your professional network by attending industry events, job fairs, and seminars. Engage with professionals in your field, join online communities, and participate in relevant LinkedIn groups. Building relationships and making connections can provide valuable insights, job leads, and recommendations, increasing your visibility to potential employers. Tap into Online Job Portals: Utilize online job portals, such as Indeed, LinkedIn, and Totaljobs, to explore a wide range of employment opportunities. Create a compelling online profile that showcases your skills, experiences, and accomplishments. Set up job alerts to receive notifications about relevant job postings, and regularly update your profile to stay visible to recruiters and hiring managers. Research Company Culture and Values: Before applying for a position, research the company's culture, values, and mission. A good fit with the company culture is crucial for long-term job satisfaction. Check the company's website, social media platforms, and online reviews to gain insights into their working environment and corporate values. Tailor your application and interview responses to align with the company's culture and emphasize how your skills and values complement theirs. Develop In-Demand Skills: Don’t forget to stay updated with the evolving demands of the UK job market by developing in-demand skills. Identify industry-specific skills that are sought after by employers in your field and invest in professional development opportunities. Consider online courses, workshops, certifications, or even volunteering to acquire and showcase these skills. The more adaptable and versatile you are, the more attractive you become to employers and are likely to find employment. Prepare for Interviews: Once you secure an interview, thorough preparation is essential. Research the company, review the job description, and anticipate common interview questions. Practice your responses and be prepared to provide specific examples of how your experiences and skills align with the job requirements. Dress professionally, maintain good body language, be confident and demonstrate enthusiasm during the interview.
