ACTIVE INGREDIENTS: Chlorhexidine Gluconate 0.3% w/v and Cetrimide 3.0% w/v

INTRODUCTION
MORICET® is a brand of Chlorhexidine gluconate and Cetrimide combination.
Chlorhexidine gluconate is a biguanide that has been found to be bactericidal against a broad spectrum of Gram-positive and Gram-negative organisms.
Cetrimide belongs to a group of Quartenary Ammonium Compounds (QACs), ionizes in solution and strongly attached to the bacterial cells; active against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative organisms
The synergistic effect of both Chlorhexidine gluconate and cetrimide in Moricet makes it a powerful antibacterial, causing leakage and coagulation of intracellular materials of microorganisms, degradation of protein and nucleic acid, and eventual lysis of the microorganism cells.

MORICET® is used for a wide variety of purposes because of its effectiveness against a broad spectrum of organisms as well as its lack of toxicity and irritancy.
