In addition to all that we know in life,knowing the meaning of our names is very crucial.90% of bible characters has the event surrounding their life,purpose of creation or mission sent to accomplish here on earth envelope in the names they bear.ABRAHAM:means father of many nations.He eventually became his name.MOSES:means Drawn out of water.He was used to turn water to blood(Ex 7:19-20).He brought frogs out of water(Ex 8:1-end).He invoke snow(solidified water) to fight Egyptians(Ex 9:22-25).He made Isralites pass through Red Sea(Ex 14:21).He brought water from Rock(Num 20:11).In a way,because of water,he could not enter the promise Land(Num 20:7-12,12:14).JESUS means SAVIOUR(Mt 1:21) sent to save the world from sins.TIMOTHY means:Honoring God. He truly honors God from his childhood(2 Tim3:15).Therefore note that certain events surrounding your life today could be a direct result of the names you bear or perharps the Holy Spirit has impress that name we bear upon the heart of our parents as a pointer to our assignment on earth.Let's be sensitive enough to discover this becuase We have a single life to live. let's exploit all avenue to live life to the fulness of God' plan & purpose for our lifes.There is power in names.

What has names got to do with money. The guy quoted scriptures . Name really have significance in people's lives. This who had terribles names in the bible had the name working against them. Thats why God would change people's names. Name is a confession and prophecy.

Quite funny thread. seemed somewhat obvious to me though that olanrewaju's been trying to market his books and co. As it's been quoted from Romans, let each one be persuaded in himself.
