confirmedniggae: Anyone who tells you 150k salary in Nigeria is little or bad, is out of touch with reality. Few people earn 150k and above in this country. 3 Likes |

confirmedniggae:It depends on where you live.If you live in the North, bit is okay. But in the South, my guy you need to hustle more.House rent, school fees and flood items will make you feel as if you are earning less than N30k. However that money is good for a start |
Re: Is N150,000 Monthly A Good Salary ? by Mypeople2(m): 6:23am On Sep 14, 2021 |
Poleski:Not totally true my guy. Here in South South, things are quite expensive.Do you know that you can spend an average of N800- N1000 here on transportation just moving within a short distance? What about food items that are quite expensive here.In those days, you can proudly tell someone that you are earning N100k and the person will be happy with you that you are rich... Not now.The economy is so messed up right now |

If your wife is also working, it can be considered but if not, then it's too small. Consider rent, feeding and school fees. If you can get something better, forfeit it but if you can't get something better, then you would have to manage it. |

lastchild:Talk for yourself! Your reality isnt same with everyone, with hike in price of things, and the fact naira is weak! 10 0k is only big in face value. I used to think like this till i got job close to 100k in lagos(adeniyi jones precisely) and i struggle to buy pair of jeans, cos of what comes with the job(am still single) i know people who do 2 shift(security job,35k+30 40k +35 25k+35 in that order.) but go broke b4 the next payday(they dont gamble, womanize nor drink) just food, transport&a few other logistics. see pray when God gives you a job or money, let situation of things not take the money from you. 2 Likes |

Re: Is N150,000 Monthly A Good Salary ? by Poleski: 3:37pm On Sep 14, 2021 |
Mypeople2: I understand your point, but my comment is based on living conditions of people who live in most part of the country. Of course, there are expensive areas in the country e.g. Abuja, where the 150k is nothing, but most Nigerians don't live there. So in other words, 150k is enough for majority of the populace. |
