Hey Guys, Just browsed through your threads about this whole fuss about which station is DA BoMb, As for me, I will definitely go for 96.9 Cool Fm.I have been an ardent listener since when they started in 1998, and I can categorically say they have NO RIVALS. Cos they are just the best. You can't just compare them with Rhythm. They have got the best presenter in the country in the name of Dan Foster, who is taking the award for the second year runnin and I'm sure he is going to be given the award again this year 2006, because he is just exceptional and phenomenal.

Cool Vs Rhythm. Dan Vs Nanya. Cathy Vs Shola. Lakeside Vs The wild Child.

Rhythm just got some noise making jingles/tactics and no creativity in their programs and way of presenting. They over-hype their DJ's as if they are the world best. If you want to listen to some mixes by DJ on radio, JUST tune in to Cool Fm on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays by 10pm till Dawn. They have got the best DJ locked down there by the name of Manny, he doesn't talk much and play his jingles because scratching the turntables is with the music u play.

For me, I am yet to see any presenter on radio like Cathy, she is gifted and have a very sexy voice. And added advantage to her, because she knows more than two languages and the type of music she plays is , Georgeous.

LYDIA is just another presenter there who is making waves with her listeners. There are just no words I can use to describe her. You just have to listen to her to know for yourself.

About Cool Fm abuja, I also have no comparison.

I know this is an old thread but well said Zerocool. Especially the portion in bold fonts. The worst are fat-ass, pot-bellied and pig-look alike DJ Humility (DJ Stupidity), stupid-looking DJ Tommy (the dwarf), talent-lacking DJ Midas (DJ My-Ass) and a host of 'em. They ain't all that at all. I think I like KLM a bit though.

They only boast at Rhythm Fm. Wildchild is also one stupid presenter. The guy is just a randy goat that loves babbling on the radio with girls. That's not presenting. Ain't shit to me.

I think rhythm started b4 cool fm and they are the ones dat pimped up radio first. b4 dem, radio in lagos was dulling, even wit the so called ray power 100.5 fm but 4 now I prefer COOL FM

Really I am. I used to like them but I think they're too fake for my liking. They're always forming "foreign" levels (presenters and DJs alike). Also, their jingles show how self-conceited and deluded they are.

And then the DJs - I think they're just an over-rated bunch. Especially Humility with that his fat tummy that hardly stays in place ; he's not that good. There are better djs on stations like Raypower, Unity Fm, etc. It's the goodwill Ben Bruce enjoys that has helped them thus far.

I love kemistry; she's natural. I really didn't know she could be cool like that until I met her @ the Vault @ one of 'em Starcomms/Colossal shows. But a lot of the rest piss me off. Like Wildchild. The guy's plain fake and arrogant; I've met him on several occasions and fella wasn't impressive at all ^{always with his nose in the air, hisses}

On the turntable, I give it to KLM. But on a general note, Cool FM is it.

guys eh, i used 2 b a strong luver of 93.7 until i listened 2 dan foster"s candid phone on d g2d morn Nigeria show,sometime in feb last year.what i do is that i switch between d 2 stations.but i find it hard at times because of wazobia fm that jus pop in.anyways,wild child,dan,vicky,chidimma,shola thompson,olisa,gbemi,nanya,kemistry(i no too gbadu her sef),phoenix,freeze,manny,jaj,etc, dey r cool, wetin una think about raypower,unilag fm and unity fm,

Cool fm straight up is the killing radio to listen to from morning to night. If you want to know i spoiled my old mans radio just to set it at cool FM for life, you may guess i made it my personal radio in the living room, come to think of it my whole family now listen to cool FM.

To all who said "'take away Dan foster and cool FM is gone. I got news for y'all Dan Foster is gone and Cool FM still rocks. Morning show with manny and amaka keeps me company on my way to work everymorning and I hang out with freeze on the road show everyday. The guy is (to borrow freeze's words) absolutely awesome.
