the current governors are useless. Obi and Chime did palliative works on federal roads and these current governors were paid for the works.

What stops them from doing same. Have you even seen the quality of roads these guys are currently doing. I know roads constructed by Ngige that are still standing strong but those done by Obiano are all washed off

Stop talking rubbish! Obi and chime were governors when we had relatively good returns from oil sales and as such the allocations were good. They also had Jonathan who was ready to pay them back after such works. In the present case. Fashola has repeated it many times that he will never pay back any money used to do federal roads by the governors. That was specifically for eastern roads. The governor of Abia state has complained bitterly that federal government has refused to allow him do bad sections of federal roads in Abia state! So it's an intentional marginalization policy of the Buhari regime as championed by Fashola the tribalist.

But Obasanjo was there for 8years and Jonathan was there for 6years, that's 14years and they're all Southerners, why didn't they do anything about it?
They're not igbos and faced their regions! I don't understand the nonsense you chose to call "Southerners"! At independence we had only 3 regions.. The North, The East and The West... The destruction of Eastern roads is an intentional policy of many evil Nigerian governments in order to render the east unproductive, unliveable and to destroy lives and property there.

Now you have arrived to what I am saying that they are the problem of the people and not the federal government. According to you, they accepted to be used to the detriment of their region so you have already proved me right and all deserved to be stone alive. They are the problem of the masses in that region period. How can you be allowed as an agent of destruction to your own people? Does it make sense?
Go and drink your medicine pls..

Then they should know how to make the federal government do it by force, if they refuse, then they push for referendum and pull out from the union, that's simple, no excuses of federal government this or that, agitations are already going on, if they are short changed any form, they should push for referendum and let everyone goes his or her separate ways, enough of this useless excuses,

This is what the VAT saga and forum on open grazing is for. Shine your eyes well.

Fashola,ewedugerian.

Let's be realistic here. Apart from fg failure so to say. Is there no leader in the east that can hold fg to it? South east is the smallest of the regions, why is it suffering so much neglect. It therefore means the leaders of south east are irresponsible.

There's a reason why we are passionate about Biafra. They won't understand.

You can't treat Igbos like a third class citizen and expect us to be clapping for you.

From economic blockage, to not appointing Igbos in the security architecture.

If you are looking for a reason why Igbos are passionate about Biafra, this is one of them. IPOB simply filled the vaccum.

am not against the IPOB but the rate they are killing people and vandalising property is not worth it we are not boko boys let's do things nicely

Nigeria is not a union borne out of love or drive to move forward. Nigeria is like a sham marriage and those favoured will do anything to maintain their advantage. To them, they have nothing to lose!

The South is seen as a fifth wheel in the carriage system...so useless to the so-called power brokers. Unfortunately, the "feeble leaders" in the South only care about their pockets at the detriment of what will benefit their region.

To the southern people that support one-nigeria, answer this: if Nigeria oil were to be domiciled in the northern regions, will there still be Nigeria?

You are a wise man may God bless you.
Pls ask those foolish southerners shouting one Nigeria especially the urhobos the edos .

a biaferan (acording to your claim) was in power and watch the roads decay to this extent without doing nothing, so what's this your victimisation mentality about?

Blame your governors and senators for this, don't blame the federal government, if they can't coerce the federal government to fix the federal roads in the region, then they have not business in government and should simply resign. Idiots that can even collect bribe from the ministry of works to ignore the roads. Wike is fixing federal roads in Rivers and sending the cost to the federal government. Eastern governors should do the same. It's high time people should understand that these governors are their real enemies and not the federal government

They are doing it because none has opposed them, people enjoy the status quo to the detriment of their regions because of bribery and corruption. If they say enough is enough, the Fulanis can't do no shit. They don't have the monopoly of violence as IPOB as shown them in the East, it is still their useless stooges that are spoiling the good works of IPOB
