When Obasanjo was President, he sold like 400 assets, made so much money from oil and left $104b for his two boys. The clueless one of Otueke blew all the money left for him and even took loans.

Buhari had no reserves to blow, hasn't sell any asset, oil has fallen by more than 50% on the average, there was Niger Delta avengers and now COVID 19 World economic downturn. If he doesn't borrow money, where will he get fund to run the government and build infrastructure?

You are a lost soul without redemption. I pity the south whose land and sweat will be used for loan servicing and repayment. The north can borrow 100billion dollars, they are not the one whose resources will be used for the repayment.

He also enjoys unprecedented taxes, increases in the cost of government services and increased oil prices, something none of his predecessors had access to. He has "fought" corruption and received almost, if not all transactions under his ministries.

Tell us what he's borrowing for. Show us the infrastructure. Explain his accountability to all his new cash inflows.

The aim of Buhari's Fulani junta is to render Nigeria incapable of defending herself when they strike in 2023.

...............................................................................................
1. They have already purchased arms & ammunition & handed them over to their militia arm (Boko Haram)

2. They have purchased fighter jets & tankers & handed them over to their militia arm (Boko Haram)

3. They have crippled the Naira so Nigeria has no purchasing power during the war

4. They have taken so much loans that Nigeria cannot borrow to save itself during the war

5. They are actively crippling every young southern business/startup out there so that they cannot fund Nigeria like they did during the EndSARS protest

By 2025, Northern Nigeria will invade Southern Nigeria & impose Sharia. Many Southern Nigerians will flee to neighbouring countries.

If you cannot see this, then you are living in denial.

You're justifying bullshit.. Sense far from you..Ask yourself these questions. Where are the cars ,money ,properties efcc are recovering? Why can't they convert these things to proper use ,rather than dashing it out to themselves?
Can't these so called leaders cut down their salaries and allocations,if they are what they claimed to be?
Before now, they said they came to change it from the way PDP were sinking the nation.. Not even up to 16years that the useless PDP stayed,APC has done even more damage .. Before 2023,they might even sink the nation completely.. And you are there justifying what is wrong.. Probably you're benefiting from their loots or you aren't wise..

Any government that has 2years left in office does not have any business borrowing. The national Assembly is to blame for approving of such request without proper outline of what such money wld be spent on. At the end of day, a new government wld bear the brunt of servicing such loan with revenues meant to develop the state. How about common sense economics of living within your means? Cut down the cost of governance and ensure that the system becomes more efficient. The president should start by keeping some of his campaign promises;
1. Reduce the size of the presidential fleet
2. Ban overseas medical tourism
3. Government officials fly only business when on official assignments.

Simple economics: borrow to fund production and not consumption as the former will keep you in perpetual penury.

Everything should not be politics, future generations of Nigerians are being made poor even before they are born.

When Buhari appointed a novice to be a minister of Finance to lead the country's economy; which is one of the most volatile in the world and the Senate/HoA could not reject based on clearly seen lack of experience on a CV, I knew we were in for a long ride........To Buhari, even if an 18year old Kanuri/Falani is presented to him against an experienced Ibo/Yoruba technocrat, he will go for the nepotistic choice. Same happened with EFCC chair angry angry angry angry angry angry angry angry

borrow money to build railway to Niger Republic abi that one will help the economy abi? Why not build all the ports in the Niger delta and reroute traffic to those ports do you think that will not create economic stimulus? Why not use that money to fix all the roads in the east and middlebelt and then fix all the railways nation wide . No he’s borrowing to feed his cronies and build railway to the Niger if you like don’t wake up . Be like you never calculate how much dey burn everyday he allows terrorism to continue . Wake up we don’t need to borrow we need to cut expenses and stop fooling ourselves in this country

There's nothing said that's bad, Sanjo is just giving indirect advice not to borrow to pay salaries and am not sure wether sensible person will do dat. Government has not told us that, they borrowed to pay salaries. Most of their loans are counterpart funding. They shud explain to him if He ask question cos He has right like every Nigerians to know.
