On Tuesday, 21 September 2021, Popular Nigerian Singer, Davido lost his friend who is also a photographer to the cold hand of death.



The celebrity photographer whose name is given as Fortunate Umunmame reportedly drowned (based on trending rumour) at an unknown location in Lekki Lagos.

Remember on Tuesday, June 29, 2021, Obama DMW who is also one of Davido's friends also died on the same TUESDAY!

Anyway below is the list of Davido's friends who died mysteriously between 2017 and 2021.

1. DJ Olu

Before his demise, he was an intelligent DJ in the DMW group.

DJ Olu, also known as Olugbenga Abiodun was found dead in a BMW automobile parked in one garage in Banana Island alongside Chime Amaechi.


2. Chime Amaechi

Chime was another close friend of Davido who died together with DJ Olu. Blood was gushing out of their mouths and noses when they died on the same day. According to police sources, both of them may have died as a result of using too many hard drugs.


3. Tagbo Umeike

Davido was embroiled in a slew of disputes and turmoil following Tagbo’s death. Tagbo was said to have died after drinking ten Tequila shots on his birthday. The fact that Davido was present at the scene when his friend was having fun with 10 straight shots of Tequila was the major reason for his death being connected to Davido.


4. Ahmed (King Jhaffi)

The death of Ahmed, better known as King Jhaffi, is the first death in Davido’s camp in the year 2020. Davido confirmed Ahmed’s death on social media in a very devastating state. Although the reason for his death has yet to be discovered, it is apparent that Davido was pained by his death.


5. Tijani Olamilekan Ogbeide( TeejayDMW)

Davido’s personal bodyguard, Ogbeide Tijani Olamilekan, better known as TeejayDMW, died on Tuesday, December 8, 2020, and the OBO expressed his feelings of devastation about his death on social media. It was reported that Davido’s bodyguard died as a result of complications from a long-standing diabetes struggle.


6. Habeeb Uthman (Obama DMW)

Obama DMW, an associate of popular Nigerian entertainer and DMW boss, Davido also died on Tuesday, June 29, in a hospital in Lekki, Lagos.

According to multiple sources, He reportedly died of suspected respiratory failure. He founded his own record label, Obama Music Worldwide, an affiliate brand to Davido Music Worldwide.


7. Fortune

Davido’s official photographer is the latest member of his crew to join his long list of dead friends.

Fortune died on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, after he reportedly drowned whilst he tried to take some better angles during a shoot.

I knew Chime personally and he wasn’t in anyway friends with Davido. DJ olu and chime went to the same uni and were best friends.

If there was any foul play with Olu’s or chime’s death, their family would have raised hell as they both come from well to do families.

I am very sorry for the loss of Davido's friend. It is heartbreaking to lose loved ones, especially under such tragic circumstances.
