Being a parent is one of the task demanding and most fulfilling jobs in the planet — and something  you might feel the least prepared.

Be that as it may, Here are nine child-rearing tips that can help you feel more fulfilled as a parent.

 1.Your Child's Self-confidence

Children usually start developing their sense of self and personality as babies when they see themselves through their parents' actions. Your communication, tone of voice, your body language, coupled with  expression are observed and  absorbed by your kids. Your words and actions as a parent affect their developing self confidence more than anything else.

Commending accomplishments, however small, makes them feel proud and also boost's their self-esteem; occasionally allowing children do things independently will make them feel capable and strong. On the contrary, unfriendly comments and unfavorable comparisim with anothers, makes kids feel rejected.

Avoid making offensive statements or using words as punishments. Comments like "you are stupid!" or "Your brother is better than you!" cause emotional damage just like physical damage.

Choose your words carefully and be compassionate and  empathetic. Let your children know that mistakes is inevitable in life and won't effect your parental love, even though  you don't love their behavior.

2. Don't be too judgemental

In as much as your job as a parent involves correcting and pointing out bad attitude of your kids try as much as you can not to sound too judgemental, equally use the same zeal to spot any positive action and praise it.

Eg.You made your bed without being asked — that's terrific!" or "I really enjoyed watching you play with your sister ." These statements will do more to encourage good behavior on the long run .

Make it a duty of finding something to praise daily.show generousity with rewards. Hugs, compliments and gifts can work wonders and strengthen kids and parents bond. Over time you it won't be about scolding but acceptional behavior you would like to see.

3. Set boundaries and uphold Discipline

Discipline is key in life as well as raising kids. The essence of discipline is to help kids imbibe acceptable behaviors and learn self-control early in life. They will definitely test the limits you set for them, but they need those limits to grow into responsible and well behaved adults.

Setting house rules helps children understand the required expectations for them, it equally enhance their self-control. Rules such as: no TV until homework is done, no hitting, name-calling allowed and no Volga language etc.

You also need a system of at least: one warning, followed by consequences such as loss of privileges or minor spank depending on your culture or community.one of the main mistake parents make is inability to follow through with consequences. You can't discipline kids for misbehaving one day and ignore it the next. Being consistent guarantees what you expect.

4. Create quality Time for Your Kids

In today's busy world it's difficult for most parents and kids to get together for a family meal, let alone spend quality time together.there is probably nothing children would value more than having great time with parents. Waking up 20mints earlier in the morning to eat breakfast with your children will certainly create a lasting positive impression. Children who are not getting the attention they want from their parents often  misbehave because they want to be noticed through such.

Many parents consider it important to spend time with their kids. Creating a "special day" each week to be together and spend quality time with kids help allot. Look for other ways to connect such as going for picnic, games or movies.

Teens need less undivided attention from their parents than younger ones. Because there are fewer  opportunity for parents and teens to spend time together, parents must do their best to be available when their teen  express a desire to talk or  even participate in family activities. Attending concerts, games, and other events with your teen shows love and lets you  know more about your child and their friends in important ways.

feeling guilty as a working class parent, there are still many little things you can do —  such as making popcorn, playing cards, play video games together — surely the kids will remember you that little memorable time.
